Friday the 13th
October 13, 2017Blessed or bewitched? Some people are superstitious and believe that if the 13th day falls on Friday it is “unlucky”. This fear dates back to hundreds of years before Christ. The Bible tells us that everyday is blessed by God and we as Christians must trust Him. So today, Friday the 13th, praise the Lord for His goodness and blessings that He has given you. Go out today looking for something good to happen to you.
Psalms 145:2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Her answer, “Guidance of the Holy Spirit, daily Bible reading and prayer and Godly habits,” we cannot be consistent in the Christian life without all three.

October 7, 2017Carolyn Curtis is at a Missions Conference in Indiana where she met a young missionary couple who minister in the Congo. On their travels through Zambia they were at an event and saw the “3 Things God Can Not Do” display Board. People are using this simple way to present the gospel not only in America but all over the world. What a great encouragement to SOS Events. God is blessing as the ministry continues to expand.

September 21, 2017This photo was taken yesterday just before Prayer Meeting in Appomattox, VA. What a beautiful reminder of God’s love and protection for us. His promises are true. He promised never to destroy the earth again with a flood, and though we see storms in local areas, He also promised that He would be with us through the storm and reminds us with a beautiful rainbow.
