Little Things

January 5, 2021

When God answers prayers about something big, a healthy baby added to the family, a job after being out of work for a long time, unexpected finances just in the nick of time, we Praise the Lord

But, what about the little things, a message from someone who cares about you, a good nights sleep, the beautiful sunrise, a small bird eating at your bird feeder.

Little things. Today, stop for a moment and look around for a little thing that you can Praise the Lord for. He gives us so many little blessings.

Recipe For A Good Day

January 2, 2021

The second day of a new year. Every day is an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus.

It is a good time to start daily communication with God with Bible reading and prayer. Take time for God to speak to you as you meditate on what you have read.

The best time is when you first get up. Your day will go better if it is started with Jesus.

Happy New Year

January 1, 2021

Isaiah 43:18&19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

2020 was a hard year for everyone all over the world. Let us put the past year behind and look forward to a better New Year that is free from illness, fighting and unrest.

We can accomplish this in our personal lives by trusting in Jesus and God’s promises.

A Good Resolution For 2021

December 30, 2020

Christmas is over, time to take down the beautiful decorations and keeping in our hearts the memories of Christmas 2020. It always makes me sad to put away those wonderful things that make Christmas special every year. As we put away the lights, tree, nativity sets, let us NOT put away the truth of Christmas, Jesus was born into this world to be our Savior, and it is our responsibility to tell others. So let us make a resolution to be better witnesses in 2021, and Serve Our Savior with more zeal than we ever had before.

Witnessing is a little more difficult because of social distancing and lack of events and physical gatherings, but we can make phone calls, write notes and use social media to be a witness for the Lord. Be creative. Think of someone today who needs the Lord and pray for him or her, and then contact them. People need the Lord now more than ever.

Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.:

Be Thankful

November 20, 2020

Thanksgiving is next week. We are going to focus on verses about being thankful.

Everyday we should thank the Lord for His blessing to us no matter what our circumstances. Now is a good time to thank Him for your blessings.

Got Peace?

Matthew 11:28-30 – Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Worship and Pray

November 8, 2020

Four great verses for today. When we live in uncertainty, and not knowing what direction our lives will go, these verses are direction from God’s Word.

If we are able to gather in church today or we worship from home, seek, pray, wait and worship. God is able to give us all we need.

SOS Events Training

October 26, 2020

Yesterday, 22 people came together to learn how to witness to others using the “3 Things God Can Not Do” with SOS Events Ministry.

Some of them were seasoned soul winners and others were not confident in telling people about Jesus and how people can be saved.

This new team in Lakeland, Florida are excited to begin to witness at events.

Please pray for them that events will open for them to be able to have a place to go to use what they learned at training.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
