Attitude Check

September 23, 2025

This story may or may not be true, but it is something to think about.

As Christians we must be careful how we treat others. Sometimes our attitude, can make a huge difference in another’s life. Do we forgive others who make a mistake? Are we friendly, kind and helpful to those we come in contact with?

Look around and see if you can be the difference in someone’s life today.

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you

God’s Wake Up Call!

September 21, 2025

Today is the funeral of a Christian who stood up for God and His Word. When Charlie Kirk was assassinated the news traveled worldwide through social media.

God uses many tragedies to wake-up His people. We as Christians need to standup and serve God with boldness and without fear.

Our Country and the world needs Jesus. Are you listening to God’s call?

God Supplies The Needs Of His Children!

September 14, 2025

God can supply all that we need. The key to this verse is My God. He supplies the needs of His children.

We are not automatically His child. We need to admit that we have sinned. Believe that He provided a way to have all our sins forgiven. He sent Jesus to take our sin upon Himself when He died on the cross, was buried and on the third day He arose.

If we truly believe in Jesus, ask for forgiveness, be willing to repent of your sins, then we are born again and become His child.

Then this verse becomes reality He does provide all we need.

Wait on the Lord!

May 29, 2025

Sometimes waiting is very difficult. Waiting to get married, or that that new baby will be born, for a job or a new house. All of these things are important in our lives and we get impatient.

The Bible tells us to wait upon the Lord. In this verse, it talks about when we get tired and sometimes we want to give up, but God tells us to wait upon Him and he will give us the strength courage to go on.

Whatever you are waiting for, be patient, trust in the Lord, and if it is His will, he will bring it to pass.

A Prayer That We Should Pray Daily!

May 15, 2025

This verse can become your prayer for yourself each day.

We want to please the LORD in everything we do and say. The problem is we cannot please Him unless He helps us.

Our words comes from our heart the Bible says “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man” (Matthew 15:18)

James 3:11 tells us that we speak both sweet and bitter words. So, how can we please God when in ourselves we cannot control what and how we speak?

The key is in the verse in Psalms, our words comes from our heart. We need to have a pure heart.

If we have a problem with harsh words, cursing, gossiping, yelling or lying, all sins that does not please God, we need to confess that sin, ask Jesus for a heart that is pure. Meditate on His Word, ask Him to help us when we fail. Jesus is our strength and our redeemer!

Time Is Short!

May 5, 2025

Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women at Orange Park Baptist Church on Saturday.

It is always a blessing to share her story with others. Giving opportunity for them to accept Jesus as their Savior, and Christians to serve the LORD.

In this photo she reminds the audience that time is short. We must use the time wisely and use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 & 16

How Is Your Weather?

February 28, 2025

Do you start your day looking to see what the weather is going to be?

Many of us do. But the question is what is your spiritual weather like?

The Bible has a lot to say about our weather.

In Revelation 3 this is what God says about our spiritual weather condition.

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Those are pretty harsh words. God says he wants us to be hot. That means to do the work of the Lord with all your heart. Be diligent and faithful.

Some of us are cold. We don’t want to do anything for the Lord. As we get older, some of us want to retire and do nothing.

Probably the majority of Christians are lukewarm. Going to church on Sunday, maybe even on Wednesday we think that’s enough. IS IT?

May God Bless You Today

February 16, 2025

As Christians we have the privilege of serving the LORD, especially on Sunday.

Today, take advantage of that blessing. If you have a position in your church or are in the congregation, you can be serving Him.

Pastors, teachers, ushers or whatever position you hold, do it with gladness and joy. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit.

In the congregation, be alert. Watch for new people and someone who is lonely. Go and make them feel welcome and loved. Encourage your friends and others around you.

Make this Sunday a day of joy and service. Your day will be blessed beyond measure.

An Encouraging Bible Verse For You!

February 6, 2025

When you are tired and think you cannot finish a job that needs to be done, think about this verse.

God tells us be strong, use your hands and you will be rewarded.

It’s true whatever task we have. It may be a physical thing, a spiritual situation or even a mental problem. Keep working on it and with God’s help you will be rewarded.

A job well done is a great reward in itself.
