There is an answer. It is found in the Bible.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
God’s Word was never meant to stop at our ears—it is meant to shape our lives. James reminds us that hearing Scripture without obeying it can lead to self-deception. True faith is revealed not only by what we know, but by how we live.
When we act on God’s Word, we show our love for Him and our trust in His wisdom. Obedience turns belief into action and truth into testimony. Today, ask the Lord to help you not only hear His Word, but to live it out in your daily walk.

Most Christians fall into this category today, unfortunately. In our churches we see very few conversions, in ministry there are few people that are willing to spend even three or four hours a week or even a month to go to the marketplace to witness to the lost.
Someday we will be judged for what we have done for The Lord.
Will we hear “Well done” or will our works be counted as wood hay and stubble and be cast into the fire?
When we stand before Him, will our excuse be, “I was too busy”?
Bob and Ginger are wonderful SOS Events Leaders and Trainers. They had their first training in 2026 recently and 8 people came to be trained and volunteer at events.

This is the week before Thanksgiving. We should be thankful everyday not just once a year.
Maybe you are in a situation where you don’t feel thankful.
Stop today and thank God for one thing He has given you.
If you do that everyday you will soon be able to thank Him even for your trials and tribulations.

Jesus is the most famous person of all time. He is either loved or hated. Everything in the universe revolves round Him.
I met Him many years ago, when I realized that I needed to have my sins forgiven. I invited Him to come into my heart, forgive me of all my sin, and become my Lord and Savior.
Did I see Him physically? No, but He is real and you can meet Him too.
You don’t need an appointment. He is waiting for you to meet Him. All you need to do to meet Jesus is ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life.
I encourage you to come and meet my Savior.

Great quote for the world we live in today. When contemplating what to put on the blog, this quote came to mind, but who first said it?
This is a good research project for you today. It is not scripture but a true saying for Christians.
Are you sitting back doing nothing? Content to sit in church and listen, but not going out and witnessing to your friends and neighbors. The conclusion, do something. Join SOS Events and learn how to be a witness for Christ.

Halloween is a day that originated to ward off evil spirits with bonfires and sacrifices. This weekend is a time when children trick or treat and adults party. Some people love Halloween and others hate it, but however you feel about Halloween, as Christian we can use it to witness for the Lord.
If children come to your house for trick or treat be sure to give them a tract along with the candy.
SOS Events participates in many Halloween alternatives at churches and community events.
Be a witness and use this opportunity for God’s glory. Also please pray for many souls to be saved on this weekend, the busiest in the year for SOS Events all around the USA.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven
Jesus tells us in His Word that there are people who are ready to hear the Gospel and respond, BUT there are not enough volunteers to go and tell the lost about salvation.
That was true in Jesus time and it is true today. He will equip volunteers to go. He gives the Holy Spirit power to the ones who are willing to go.
SOS Events is a wonderful way to share the Gospel in a simple non confrontational way. Many volunteers are needed.
SOS Events trains, and has teams that go together to events. Please pray and ask God what He would have you to do. Will you come and work in the fields (events) with us?
