God deserves all the Praise and glory for the wonderful blessings He bestows on SOS Events Ministry. Reports have been coming into the home office of many, many souls who have accepted Jesus and whose lives have been changed. Our teams are available, but only God can bring salvation to the people who listen to the gospel. Praise the Lord!
Sometimes things do not go as planned. That is exactly what happened when the Senior Servants with SOS Events came to work this month. When the newsletters ran out something was wrong. There were many pages of labels left and no more newsletters. Then one of the ladies noticed a duplicate name on a label.
What could we do? Some of the ladies offered to stay and put all the letters in alphabetical order, then go through a second time and compare to make sure to pull all duplicates. Those then had to be relabeled. It took several extra hours and all were found but 10. Thank you to all our Senior Servants. A special thanks to the ladies who could stay longer and help untangle the problem.

God gave us a wonderful day to witness to a number of eager little children and adults attending the Taste of the World Event. It was a blessing to meet the Piscataway Church ministry leaders and the devoted members of the congregation once again this year. Ms.Linda greeted us and said that her grandson made the decision to follow the Lord in 2017 at our SOS table. We had 15 to 20 visitors who stopped by our SOS Events display board and heard the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. 12 of them came to the back and heard the ABCs of the Bible.
Six children made the decision to accept our Lord Jesus as their Personal Savior.
Two children and one adult received the Assurance of Salvation promised in the Scriptures.
Vasha, age 10, wrote: What you did for me today is that you made me stronger, sometimes, I am not honest but now He has made me more truthful. And, I thank God for this and will never forget this.
Tony, age 7, wrote: Jesus is our Savior.
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
One of the blessings of summer when school is out, is that SOS Events Ministry has the opportunity to have young girls work in the office. Mackenzie, Kaylen and Keira work a few days a week helping get things done. They have various tasks which gives them the opportunity to get much needed experience for the future.
In past years several young women have worked as interns with SOS Events and have now gone on to college and careers. The most important thing they learn is how to witness at events and also in everyday life. Please pray for these young ladies as they grow in knowledge and the Lord.
(Boys have also worked with SOS Events. They do outside work in the yard and maintenance.)

“Praising God for the 14 souls saved Saturday at Santuck Flea Market under the SOS Events Ministry tent. We talked to 129 people at the SOS board and gave out 175 tracts. We all had some very special moments today as lives were changed and eyes and hearts were opened up to the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. We had several people come by to say hello and to thank us for being there again , some had gotten saved 2 years ago and are a testament to this life saving ministry. Thank you Lord for the blessing of talking to and praying for people that need reassurance. A big thank you to Carl Norton for volunteering today Serving Our Savior. We are all so blessed to be able to share the Gospel with the lost and show the love of Christ.”

Sunday should be a day to worship and praise the Lord. What better way than to praise Him for the 14 souls that made decisions yesterday to follow Jesus at an SOS Events Ministry booth. Thank you, Lord, for the souls saved, the volunteers who witness for You and most of all for Your death, burial and resurrection that made it all possible. Praise the Lord!!!
Today is SOS Events cofounder, Carolyn Curtis, 81st birthday. You can help her celebrate not with gifts but take a moment to pray for her. Wisdom, good health and strength are her personal needs, but her desire is to see SOS Events Ministry grow with more soul winners, more salvations and in territory. Also, that God will provide someone with a heart for souls and SOS Events Ministry when it is time for her to retire or go “home” to meet the Lord. She is thankful for her 2nd birthday. The day she accepted Jesus as her Savior over 60 years ago.
