This is a photo of the Plant City, Florida Flea Market that takes place every Wednesday. SOS Events team are there every week, weather permitting. Is it a commitment that causes weariness? Yes. Is it worth the effort? Yes. Each week God blesses with souls saved. This week 3 people are on their way to Heaven, who may never have heard the gospel if faithful SOS Events team members were not there.
Do you have a Flea Market in your area? People are there who may never step foot in a church. Could you be the one to make a difference in their lives? Think about it and contact SOS Events for help getting started.

SOS Events Training

SOS Events Ministry offers Training to prepare volunteers to witness at events. Yesterday, at Scott Lake Baptist Church several people came for training. It was a small group but everyone was so excited to learn and be ready to go to events to witness. In the class there were various ages from a young teenage girl to a retired pastor. God brings to the ministry people He wants to be His soul winners.

Christmas is Past

Christmas is over, time to take down the beautiful decorations and keeping in our hearts the memories of Christmas 2019. It always makes me sad to put away those wonderful things that make Christmas special every year. As we put away the lights, tree, nativity sets, let us NOT put away the truth of Christmas, Jesus was born into this world to be our Savior, and it is our responsibility to tell others. So let us make a resolution to be better witnesses in 2020, and Serve Our Savior with more zeal than we ever had before.
Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. Continuing Thankfulness
November 21, 2019Thank the Lord for the great office staff of SOS Events Ministry. Diana and Alice are the office staff who keep things going for the ministry, but they also work at events and are great soul winners. In this photo they are working at events. Thank you Diana and Alice for all you do for the Lord.

What Are You Doing?

Great quote for the world we live in today. When contemplating what to put on the blog, this quote came to mind, but who first said it?
This is a good research project for you today. It is not scripture but a true saying for Christians.
Are you sitting back doing nothing? Content to sit in church and listen, but not going out and witnessing to your friends and neighbors. The conclusion, do something. Join SOS Events and learn how to be a witness for Christ.

Are you a “Fisherman”?
November 16, 2019When you fail to study God’s Word, you stop growing. When you cease to grow spiritually, you start deteriorating immediately. When you stop climbing, you start slipping. You can never arrive spiritually in this life; there is always a higher plateau to be reached. One of those plateaus is personal evangelism. Jesus said, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Soul winners are made, not born.

Antioch Days

SOS Events has been participating in Antioch Days since it began as a little churchyard annual event about 13 years ago. It is always held on the first Saturday in November and has become a huge event. There are many things for families to do, train ride, fishing, food, games, venders and a parade. Saturday, there were 26 Salvations at the SOS Events booth. Praise the Lord for opportunities like this to witness where people come to have fun.

Trunk or Treat!
October 29, 2019In Montgomery, Alabama there were 33 decisions for Christ under SOS tent at EBC Trunk or Treat! Those who made decisions are already being prayed over by our local church body and will be followed up with for additional prayer and discipleship.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Busy Week
October 26, 2019
Halloween is on Thursday. This week has the most events in various places throughout the USA and SOS Events Ministry has many opportunities to be in these events to present the gospel to children and their parents. Several events are taking place today, tomorrow and more throughout the week. Some events were postponed until November weekends especially in the South were storms caused cancellations. Please be in prayer for all SOS Events faithful volunteers as they witness at these events, and for many people to be saved.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
