Thank the Lord that He forgives us and we have Salvation and then as Christians He forgives us when we sin. God is faithful.

November 15, 2018The Bible says that we should give thanks in everything. Also, we should give thanks every day not just on Thanksgiving. Let us stop right now and thank God for at least one blessing. Sometimes it is hard if we are going through a trail in our lives, but there is always something to be thankful for, it may be something as small as being able to get out of bed. If you are reading this, YOU are who I am thankful for today. May God richly bless you.

Thank You Veterans

Today is Veterans Day in the USA. A day to remember the brave men and women who fought so that we can live in freedom. Also, a special thanks to the people who are in the military today. We are free to choose our leaders, we are free to rear our children as we please, we are free to follow the path to any career we desire, and much more, because of the sacrifice of these men and women in the military. Most of all we are free to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who gives us true spiritual freedom.

Thanksgiving will soon be here. It is sad to think that this special holiday has been overshadowed by Halloween and Christmas. Except for the turkey and food the true meaning is lost. As Christians we should be thankful not one time a year but in everything. True happiness comes from our thanksgiving to God for all His bountiful blessings.

Death to Life

It is a great blessing to be part of SOS Events ministry that brings people from death to life. All the praise and honor belongs to the Lord for the souls that have been saved through this ministry.
James Dean Festival
October 2, 2018
Jams Dean Festival in Fairmount, Indiana has now ended. 35 Salvations were recorded. In this picture is Alice and a young family. The Mom and Dad made a decision to follow Jesus at the Festival. Special thanks to Scott and Joyce, SOS Events Indiana Team Leaders, and Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser for the many things they did to make this event successful. Also, thank you to New Hope Baptist Church in Gas City for their faithful support. Both these churches have helped and supported SOS Events for many years. The goal is to win people to the Lord and God once again has blessed. All the glory goes to Him.

God is Good
August 10, 2018On July 24, Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry tripped over a vine in her yard and broke her hip. Surgery the next day and two weeks of intensive rehabilitation and she is finally home and able to take on the responsibilities of the ministry again. A special thanks to the office staff of SOS Events, Diana, Alice and Jan who kept things running smoothly as they always do. God has blessed SOS Events with great workers both in the home office and the great soul winners that go to events. Please continue prayer for Carolyn as she recovers at home. Projection for complete recovery is 3 to six months.
To God be the glory for the progress that has been made for Carolyn as she is doing extremely well. God is good.

February 18, 2018SOS Events has many Pastors who love this ministry and use the “3 Things God Can Not Do ” in their personal soul winning, in sermons, at churchyard events and witness in a SOS Events booth at community events.
