Staff, volunteers and all SOS Events workers in Florida are very busy this week. There is a training at a local church today and Wednesday, Strawberry Festival dinner tomorrow, final preparations at the festival grounds on Tuesday, as well as printing the monthly newsletter. Wednesday is the Plant City Flea Market, Thursday SOS Senior Servants come to help with the newsletter AND the Strawberry Festival begins. Then for the next eleven days the Strawberry Festival is in full swing for 12 hours a day. We need your prayers. Pray for our workers, safety, Holy Spirit power in each of our lives and most of all that many souls will be saved.

Many people ask what the meaning of SOS is, Serving Our Savior is what the letters stand for, but more importantly it is what the team members feel in their hearts.
The faithful servants who work with SOS have a sincere desire to see souls saved. Everyone from the office workers, maintenance men, volunteers, booth workers, and missionaries love the Lord with all their hearts and work tirelessly to see people get saved.

SOS Events has teams of people who love to win souls at events. In the State of Alabama there are several groups from different areas. The group pictured here is from the Montgomery area. One of the reasons Christians like SOS Events is that it is a team effort. There are always 3 or 4 people working together at an event. God blesses Christians who work together with one goal in mind, winning the lost to Jesus. All that is needed for a team is 3 or 4 people. Think of your friends and you can get a team together in your area. We will come and train you, provide the tools you need to be a witness for Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

SOS Events Ministry partners with local churches to train Christians to win the lost. The goal of SOS Events is to reach the USA and beyond with people who want to win souls and go out into the marketplace to find them. Most people today will not come to church to find out how to get to Heaven. We have to GO and reach them where they are. Want to be a soul winner? We want to help. Today, Board Members, Staff, and Volunteers of SOS Events Florida Team will meet for our first annual Florida meeting. It will be a time of instruction, encouragement,food and fellowship. A great day is planned and hopefully those who come will get a greater vision for winning souls, encouraging other Christians to get out and be witnesses for the Lord. Everyone who is a soul winner is on the “front line” Serving Our Savior. We all need encouragement to keep up the good fight until the Lord comes and the battle will be won.
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Weather was cold (for Florida), crowd was down, but we Praise the Lord for the one soul that decided to trust Christ at the Raising Cane Festival on Saturday. Sometimes we think it’s about the numbers but Heaven rejoices over one person who gets saved and we do too.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

SOS Events ministry has a booth to win souls at the Raising Cane Festival in Dade City, Florida, today. Please join with us in prayer that many will be saved and that our volunteers will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Friday and Saturday there was a most unusual event that SOS Events has ever participated in. Monterey Baptist Church in Orlando invited us to come and share in their soul winning event. While several vans and cars full of soul winners went out to witness at apartment complexes, we set up our displays in the front yard of the church waiting for people to pass by. This is not our usual venue, however, a few people did walk past. At the end of the 2 days there were eight Salvations. These people are within walking distance of the church. Praying that today they will attend the Sunday services of this growing church.
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
