Family!

June 27, 2022

You may be from a very large family or a small one, but being part of a family is a great blessing.

Family sticks together through good times and bad. Someone is there to be with you to join in laughter or tears. Siblings have a special bond that should last for a lifetime.

Maybe you are an only child or have had what seems to be an unrepairable disagreement with a family member.

Good news! If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are in the family of God and you have a friend that is closer than a brother. Jesus is with you always and you can go to Him with your joys and sorrows.

Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Are you doing what God commanded us to do? Go and tell.

Maybe you have fear, don’t think you know enough or don’t think you have time. SOS Events Ministry can help you.

God has mad it so simple. 3 Things God Can Not Do is a non confrontational way to present the gospel.

What A Day That Will Be!

June 22, 2022
Photo from You Tube

Just think of what a wonderful day when we can see Jesus face to face!

Seeing loved ones again. Mother, Father, Sibling, Child or Friend. The ones who have trusted Jesus as their Savior. We will be with them again. But, the most important person we will see is JESUS.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 & 17

Feeling Down?

June 21, 2022

Everyday we can find something that we can rejoice. It may be something so small, like a butterfly, or a beautiful flower. Maybe a colored leaf in the autumn or a look at the full moon.

If you feel down, depressed or lonely think about a blessing that the Lord has done for you. Jesus is there. He knows your struggles and troubles.

What Does God Think About Us?

June 16, 2022

God loves us with a love so great that He sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world, to die on the cross and be resurrected so we could have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

When we accept Jesus as your Savior, we are God’s child and his heir.

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:16

God does not see any of our sins. Our sin is blotted out by the blood of Jesus.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9

God will supply all our needs. He gives good gifts to His children.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

There are many more verses in the Bible thar tells us how much God thinks of us and many promises that we can rely on, but only if we are His child.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior?

Love One Another

June 11, 2022

This picture shows us how we can love our neighbor and work together in our communities.

Loving our neighbor is not a suggestion, it is a command. Today, find someone next door, in a public place or wherever you are to be kind and show Jesus’ love to them.

Something Special About Old Hymns!

June 7, 2022

There is something special about old hymns. This one has the whole gospel in one song. Jesus died, was buried, rose again and will return. He did that all for you and me.

One day when heaven was filled with His praises,
One day when sin was as black as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin—
Dwelt among men, my example is He! Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Refrain:
Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever:
One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected;
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He.

One day they left Him alone in the garden,
One day He rested, from suffering free;
Angels came down o’er His tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He.

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,
One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then He arose, over death He had conquered;
Now is ascended, my Lord evermore.

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming,
One day the skies with His glory will shine;
Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing;
Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!

We are free from sin, justified and we will be with Him and our loved ones again! Glorious Day!

People Are Trusting Jesus in Michigan!

June 4, 2022

Friday, Saturday and Sunday are great opportunities for people to hear the gospel in Michigan. Yesterday, the SOS Events Team in Michigan had the privilege of leading over 20 people to accept Jesus as their Savior.

Please pray with us that the next two days will see many more people come to the Lord.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. I Timothy 2:1-4
