Opportunity To Witness With SOS Events

May 6, 2025

Fairs, summer festivals, flea markets, yard sales, car shows, and many other events will take place in the next 3 or 4 months.

SOS Events Ministry will be at these events in many States of the USA. The goal of SOS Events is to be in every state and county. There has been lot of new areas but there are still many more that are needed.

Please help to reach the goal by praying, giving and going. The blessing is that many people will hear the gospel and be 100% sure they are on their way to heaven.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Time Is Short!

May 5, 2025

Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women at Orange Park Baptist Church on Saturday.

It is always a blessing to share her story with others. Giving opportunity for them to accept Jesus as their Savior, and Christians to serve the LORD.

In this photo she reminds the audience that time is short. We must use the time wisely and use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 & 16

Everyday Rejoice!

May 4, 2025

We can rejoice everyday because the LORD made the day. There are days that we may not feel like rejoicing.

But this Psalm tells us of all the things God has promised to His children. Even in tough times we can rejoice because God is with us.

So today, if you are having a great day, rejoice. If your day is full of trouble or sorrow you still can still rejoice in the LORD because of what He has done for you.

Friends

May 3, 2025

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Matthew 18:24

If you have a friend or many friends, you are truly blessed.

Friendship is one of God’s gifts to us.

There is One Friend who is the most important friend of all. He is the LORD, JESUS.

He is the friend who you can count on no matter what happens in your life. Good times and bad, He is always with you.

How can He become your best friend? Believe He died, was buried and rose again. Ask Him to forgive your sin. Invite Him into your life.

Thank Him for being your friend.

What Is Your Story?

May 2, 2025

Everyone who is saved has a story. How did you come to know the Savior, Jesus?

There are many testimonies that have been told:

A man who went by a church, heard the music and walked in, asked the usher how he could be saved.

The little girl who went to church and when the alter call was given followed the soul winner out of curiosity and trusted Jesus as her Savior.

The man whose lost his son in a tragic accident. Before his last breath, the son asked his Dad, will I see you in Heaven?

The person who was about to commit suicide and picked up a tract, read it and was wonderfully saved.

What is your story? You need to tell it. Write it down. Tell it to someone in person or through social media. Your story could touch someone’s heart and be the very thing that will cause them to accept Jesus.

Start Your Day With The LORD!

April 29, 2025

Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. Psalm 57:8

The best time to spend with the Lord is early in the morning. It’s a great way to start your day.

Take time to read scripture and let the Lord speak to you. Then pray, thanking the Lord for all He has done for you, and then ask for your requests.

If you have to get up a half an hour to an hour early. It may be hard at first, but it is well worth it.

No Prayer Is Too Small For God!

April 22, 2025

Do you trust God for the big things? But when the little things are present, you think that it’s just coincidence or that He doesn’t care.

Do you think that praying for a parking place, or to help you find the color of some new furniture, or that you would receive a phone call from a particular person are all too small for God?

No, God cares for all of these things in your life. If you’re trusting in him, totally, he will supply every need and even our wants no matter how small they are.

No prayer is too small for God.

Pray For This Pastor

April 12, 2025

Please join with me praying for Pastor Sullivan. Praying for his safety and release.

The world is in chaos right now when sometimes we do not feel safe. A news story like this makes us realize that we have to trust the LORD.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Cars and Coffee

April 8, 2025

Cars and Coffee car show near Near Cookeville, TN took place on Saturday.

This was a first event for this new SOS Events Team.

God blessed with 2 teens who were saved.

Another blessing was the 5 new volunteers who witnessed at an event for the first time.

This Team will have more events throughout the spring and summer. Please be in prayer for them as they follow the LORD’s command to go and give out the gospel.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Plan “B”

April 7, 2025

When you have something planned for an event, party, or celebration and something happens just before that is unexpected, do you have a “plan B”? That means you have something to replace the thing that went wrong.

SOS Events did not have a plan B for the Annual Celebration that took place on Saturday.

Plans were made, programs printed. The Charisma Trio was coming to sing. On Friday that all changed. The Trio could not come.

The staff was decorating for the event when the sad news came. What to do? Pray. Then get together and come up with a plan.

That evening, the pianist, Sandy, opened her home and the newly formed quartet met for the first time for a short practice and the SOS Singers were formed.

They did a wonderful job especially because they had never sung together before.

God gave a wonderful blessing. The Annual Celebration was a great success.

When you don’t have a “Plan B” in your life, pray and trust the LORD to direct and things will turn out even better than your plan.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5&6
