Coronavirus has kept many people from attending church. It is very easy to get out of the habit of going to church.
Especially, since churches have been closed.
Going to church is not only important to worship God, but to fellowship with one another, and show love one to another is essential in the Christian life.
Today, if you are able and have no health issues, and your church is open, get out there and go to church. Pray for the ones that cannot attend and also pray for your pastor.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 KJV
There is an old saying, “ sticks and stones can break my bones, but names will never hurt me.”
That is totally untrue. Our words can uplift or hurt, not only to our loved ones, but to people around us. Most importantly, our words are important to God.
What we say is an expressionof our heart.pray today that your words will be kind, helpful, and pleasing to the Lord.
We wake up Sunday morning and have to prepare for worship physically but how often do we take the time to spiritually prepare ourselves before we even walk through the doors?
The devil will try to distract us with all kinds of problems. It’s a simple thing to forget in the bustle of getting ready on a Sunday morning, but we need to be thankful we can go to church.
There is a right way to show up on Sunday, but it can only happen if we start preparing our hearts before we even leave our homes.
COVID-19 has kept many of us from church. Let us not let anything or anyone keep us from worship. If you are able to go to church go with a prepared heart.
