July 11, 2019In the early days of SOS Events Ministry, Tom and Carolyn went to several Church Conferences to promote the ministry. They traveled to Illinois and set up a table with information about SOS Events. Pastors would come to the table and ask to be put on the mailing list.
Yesterday, one of those Pastors, Dale Williams, from Naperville, IL called and wanted a display board and materials to use in an event on August 2&3 this year. He has people in his congregation excited to start witnessing at events. They will take their training online.
One of the goals And prayers of SOS Events is to have teams in every state and God is supplying in wonderful ways. This was a contact made about 15 or 16 years ago. We never know when that contact or witness will bring forth results. The encouragement to you is this, if we keep sowing we will reap if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Vacations
July 8, 2019Many of us are going on vacations this time of year. We take time from our routine to “get away”. God never slumbers or goes on vacation. He is always there watching over us and taking care of us. This morning take a minute to Thank Him for His Omnipresence.
Psalms 121:2&3 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

New SOS Events Team In Ohio
July 1, 2019
Ed, Rhonda, Dory, Carolyn (SOS founder) and Stephanie (team Leader) had a wonderful time at a churchyard event in Maumee, Ohio at The Church on Strayer Sunday. Carolyn flew to Ohio to help this team with the first event. Stephanie has been working diligently for 2 years to get a team together and God blessed her with people who love the Lord and are excited to win souls. Their are several others who have been trained not pictured here. The Pastor came to see the SOS Events booth and immediately wanted more information. This team will grow into a strong witness in Ohio. More to come tomorrow….

God deserves all the Praise and glory for the wonderful blessings He bestows on SOS Events Ministry. Reports have been coming into the home office of many, many souls who have accepted Jesus and whose lives have been changed. Our teams are available, but only God can bring salvation to the people who listen to the gospel. Praise the Lord!
A Special Thank You

Sometimes things do not go as planned. That is exactly what happened when the Senior Servants with SOS Events came to work this month. When the newsletters ran out something was wrong. There were many pages of labels left and no more newsletters. Then one of the ladies noticed a duplicate name on a label.
What could we do? Some of the ladies offered to stay and put all the letters in alphabetical order, then go through a second time and compare to make sure to pull all duplicates. Those then had to be relabeled. It took several extra hours and all were found but 10. Thank you to all our Senior Servants. A special thanks to the ladies who could stay longer and help untangle the problem.
