Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
These are 2 verses in the Bible that if you follow them, God will direct you in the path He has chosen for you.
Sometimes we do not understand where He is leading us but we can trust Him. He will lead us to a life of blessing. Maybe not an easy path but a path of obedience and blessing.
When I see this verse, I want to burst into the hymn, “How Great Thou Art”.
Oh Lord, my God When I, in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art How great Thou art, how great Thou art
David Dow, friend, helper, dedicated Christian went to bed after a wonderful Thanksgiving with his wife, Vickie and family.
He woke up in Heaven! What a beautiful sight he must be seeing. He is rejoicing to meet his Savior, Jesus face to face.
David was a vital part of SOS Events Ministry. He helped develop the display boards that we use to win people to the Lord.
Many of those boards are still in use today and hundreds of people have been saved by seeing the “3 Things God Can Not Do” on a display that David made.
He willingly taught his method of producing the displays to Roger. That is a good thing as the ministry needs these tools to continue the work.
David was always ready to help in any way he could to further the Gospel.
He loved his family. He was a faithful friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15
For many years in the USA the day after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday. People are out looking for a bargain. A lot of shopping for Christmas presents.
We are tempted to overlook the true meaning of Christmas and turn it into a day to get and give gifts.
So today, shop if you must but it is a good thing to put Jesus first in your quest for that bargain.
Remember the greatest gift you can give is telling someone about Jesus. That costs absolutely nothing and it is the most lasting gift anyone could receive.
As every man hath received the gift, even sominister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
The main thing we should be thankful for is Jesus who came to earth to die on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day. He took away all our sin if we trust in Him as Lord and Savior.
Sing for joy and kneel before Him with gratitude in our heart!
