A whimsical welcome to the last month of the year, December. A time in the busy holiday season to take time to look up to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He is truly the secret to a wonderful life. (Let’s not keep Him a secret, tell someone about Him at every opportunity)
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Most of us start our day with a cup of coffee. The most important way to start our mornings though, is to spend it with Jesus. We must not neglect to read His Word and pray. That is a perfect way to start our day along with the coffee.
Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Men build our churches, but do not enter them
Print our BIBLES, but do not read them
Talk about GOD, but do not believe in Him
Speak of CHRIST, but do not trust Him for salvation
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

We talk about things like the weather, politics and even religion with friends, neighbors and perfect strangers. Conversations that are really not important in view of eternity. What is important is turning those conversations into witnessing so that they will hear the gospel and have an opportunity to go to Heaven. SOS Events has a simple way to turn any conversation into what is important by just asking the question, “Do you know the 3 Things God Can Not Do?” That is not confrontational and most people will respond favorably. Want to know more? On the home page is the simple plan of salvation under the life preservers. You can use this method to lead someone to Jesus. Turn your everyday conversations into life changing talk.
Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Wes and Beth had an amazing afternoon presenting SOS Events Ministry at the Teen Center Boys and Girls Club in Alexander City, Alabama. There were 10 teens that were presented to and 8 accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior the other 2 will be followed up with prayer and Bible study. We are so blessed to be a part of this life saving ministry and to God be the Glory.
Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

With the Christmas Holidays coming, most of us will spend hours and even days working to make our families and friends happy for a short time. We labor for things that will soon pass away and are distant memories, taking no thought for the eternal. How much work do we do for the Lord? Taking time out of our “business” to witness at an event, inviting friends and neighbors to church so they can hear the gospel, or even stopping long enough to pray for the lost. Let us take time and work for the eternal as well as the earthly this busy time of year.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Last night, thousands of people stood up and cheered for 5 hours with anticipation at a ball games that went into 7 Overtimes, yet some people complain when the Preacher goes over 5 minutes.
I trust you would have that same excitement and anticipation today to hear a Word from God. And if your Pastor goes over time, be grateful for extra time to hear from God.
Better yet, stand and cheer him on, it may just wake up a few people beside you.
Hebrews 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

This note is from Carolyn Curtis’ great granddaughter, 8 years old. What a blessing to have generations of Godly children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. To know that the times of family gatherings will not end here on earth, but will be together in Heaven for eternity. The key is to have 2 Birthdays. Physical and Spiritual.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The day after Thanksgiving in the USA is called “Back Friday”. A day that merchants invented so that people will rush out to stores to shop. It is the busiest shopping day as almost all stores have huge sales. We always like a bargain, however, a word of caution, we spend money that we cannot afford for gifts that will be soon forgotten after Christmas. We need to be reminded as Christians to be good stewards of the resources that God has given us. So go out today and have fun shopping, but before you go, pray for wisdom about your purchases. God is interested in our finances.
Matthew 6:19-20
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
