Praise the Lord for the Gospel!!! 2 lives forever changed and souls saved Saturday at Santuck Flea Market. God pours out His blessings on these precious people!!
This Flea Market is in Alabama.Beth and Wes Walker are the SOS Events Team Leaders for this event. In the photo are the two folks who made a decision and in the background is Wes.

Churches Are Open

Most churches are open. There may be restrictions or procedures that may make us feel uncomfortable, however, it is important to go to church if you are able.
It is so easy to stay home, especially after a long period of time when we did not get out. We need spiritual food and fellowship of other Christians.
So today, put away your fear and frustration with the rules and if you have no health problems, get ready and go to church. You will be blessed.
If you really cannot go physically, most churches are having virtual services. Make sure to watch and let the Lord speak to you.

Power to Witness

God sent the Holy Spirit to give us the power to witness and win souls. With most events closed due to the coronavirus, we need to be more diligent to look for opportunities to witness.
It is not the command to the pastor in the church. It is not a time for ministries like SOS Events to forget about soul winning.
God expects all Christians to be a witness for Him. Are you using the power God gave you?
God Blesses Again

God blessed SOS Events Ministry with this weekly event where volunteers can go and witness to people walking by. When most events all over the USA are closed or cancelled God has blessed to keep this Flea Market open and people come.
This week at the Plant City Flea Marker, God once again blessed the SOS Events workers with 21 people who decided to accept Jesus as their Savior. To God be the Glory.

The Cure For Shot Nerves
July 28, 2020Thinking of something to encourage those who read this blog, I chose a book on hymns, “Then Sings My Soul” by Robert J. Morgan.
He wrote a forward “The Cure For Shot Nerves”. Thinking that is a catchy title, I read what he wrote about how the old hymns can calm the spirit and help bring peace to the soul.
It is rare in some churches to even hear the old hymns anymore and that is sad.
“In the Garden” He walks with me/ and He talks with me/ and tells me I am His own.
“Jesus Loves Me”, “Amazing Grace”, “I Need Thee Every Hour” and many more that encourage the heart.
Today, if you are stressed, feeling overwhelmed, or just plan discouraged, think of your favorite hymn and sing it, hum it or just let it flood your mind with how good God is, and soon you will find the comfort you need.
The “Nevers“ of Life

This coronavirus will never be over.
I will never find a job.
This loneliness will never go away.
God never answers my prayers.
Good news. Read this Bible verse. One of many in God’s Word that gives us precious promises and hope. God is faithful. Will NEVER leave us or forsake us. Just trust Him and He will answer in His perfect timing.
The Solid Foundation

Jesus is the only foundation on which our church, home, ministry and government should be laid.
As we think about our worship today, if we are physically going to church or joining virtually, we need to make sure that the foundation of where we worship is Jesus.
It is our responsibility as Christians to make sure Jesus is the sure foundation in every area of our lives.
