Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone to please God?
Sacrifice. That’s what it takes. Giving your time, talent and resources to communicate the Word of God to others.
Praise is the first step. Only through praise and prayer can we accomplish God’s will for our lives.
Today, ask God what He wants you to do. Be ready for Him to show you. It will take some sacrifice, but the reward of pleasing Him will far outweigh any sacrifice you can give.
If God gives you the privilege of traveling. Wherever you go you will see the beauty God has created.
Not only the natural beauty, but the wisdom that God gave to man to develop ways to travel. Planes, trains, boats, cars, buses and various ways we can get from one place to another.
Then, there are the wonderful man made structures. Monuments, buildings, churches and all kinds of artifacts.
If you can travel in person or see the wonders on TV, books or magazines, as a believer, it is easy to see God’s wisdom and praise Him for His wonderful creation.
One week until Christmas Day! Are we so busy that we forget the most important thing we need to do this season and everyday?
That is to Praise the Lord in everything. If we are not doing that, we have missed what Christmas is all about.
God sent His Son, the LORD JESUS to be born. Not as King but as a lowly baby, to grow up and die on the cross for payment for our sin. That alone is worthy of all our praise.
Then our daily blessings. Too many to even count. So stop today and right now give Him the praise He deserves. Take time from your business to honor the One who give you everything.
When I see this verse, I want to burst into the hymn, “How Great Thou Art”.
Oh Lord, my God When I, in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Just a personal note from Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry.
November is a special month when we set aside a day of Thanksgiving. In truth every day should be a day we thank the Lord.
I am especially thankful for my salvation, my family and a special blessing of successful eye surgery.
It is amazing that God has given wisdom to surgeons who can restore sight to someone whose vision is impaired by cataracts. One eye done and another in a little over a week.
Praise the Lord!
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psalms 103:2
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11
Carolyn Curtis had a goal in her life to visit all 50 States in the USA. She finally reached that goal this past week.
Hawaii was the last State on her list. It was beautiful! Seeing all the diversity in the USA that God created is awesome. Every area has it’s own beauty.
Seashore, mountains, deserts, hills, valleys, lakes, rivers, small villages and large cities. Each place has unique beauty.
