October 27, 2017Seven is God’s perfect number. SOS Events Alabama had 7 new trained volunteers this week to witness at the Alabama National Fair. Praise the Lord for people willing to do what He asks all of us to do. Thank you to ALL the volunteers who work with SOS Events. May God richly bless each of you as you witness for Him.

To God Be The Glory
October 25, 2017Everything that is done and accomplished by SOS Events Ministry is done because God gives us the wisdom, power and strength to do what He asks us to do. Many times it is not easy as the enemy tries to stop us from doing God’s work, but God always gives what we need when we need it and souls are saved, volunteers come through and the results are His. To God Be the glory great things He has done and continues to do through this ministry. Please keep us in prayer, especially this very busy week with many events scheduled.
Romans 16:27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
God’s Plan for Expansion
September 18, 2017The cell phone rings and I can’t get to it fast enough. Voicemail from an unknown phone number shows up on the screen from another state. Listen to the message. Someone wants information about SOS Events Ministry from Tennessee. His church already does Events and wants to use the “3 Things God Can Not Do” to win souls. What a blessing. There is a small SOS Events team in Tennesee currently only less than two hours away from this church. Another opportunity to expand and see more souls won to Christ. God is blessing the Ministry once again without any promotion on our part. Praise the Lord.

Our Strong Tower
September 14, 2017We can never Praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus, enough for His protection from the storms of life. Each day things are getting a little better from the hurricane. Praise the Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Irma Update
September 13, 2017Thank you to everyone who prayed for SOS Events Ministry during the hurricane Irma. God spared our property from a direct hit and there was no damage to the buildings. Electricity was restored late yesterday, but still no internet and phone service is spotty, so communication and regular office work cannot be continued as usual. There is a lot of debris on the property that needs to be cleaned up (volunteers would be appreciated). Prayers were answered and the Lord gave us safety. There was no loss of life and all SOS Events staff and volunteers came thought safely. Praise the Lord for His grace and protection. Hopefully by next week everything will be back to normal and witnessing, Bible Studies to new Christians and the office will be up and running.

September 10, 2017Praise the Lord for the 22 decisions in Royersford, PA yesterday. Steve Slater is the team leader in there, and he and two SOS Events team members did a wonderful job witnessing for the Lord. Continue to pray for this team as they have another event in two weeks. Steve and his wife Shirley also have an active nursing home ministry. Praise the Lord for faithful laborers.

Soapbox Derby in Alabama
August 22, 2017“We would like to give God all the Praise and Glory for the 8 decisions at The Soap Box Derby in Dadeville Alabama on Saturday August 19th. It was a great day being about the Lords business and we met some great people. We were honored when the director of the event asked Wesley to open the derby in prayer. Thank you Lord for each day we’re allowed to serve you.” Wes and Beth Walker

SOS Events Expanding
August 20, 2017SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have this group of Leaders and workers in Alabama. These are just a few of the many soul winners that are excited about spreading the gospel in Alabama and beyond. From this core group in Montgomery the ministry has grown to many other areas in the state.
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
School Days
August 8, 2017The SOS Events office will be a little quieter today. The two girls, Kiera and Mackenzie, who have been working in the office for the summer now will go back to school. We will miss their chatter and smiling faces. What a joy and blessing they have been as they worked diligently and completed many important tasks. Our prayers will be for them as they study and grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
