Put Your Hope In Jesus!

April 20, 2026

If you lack joy, God wants to fill your life with joy unspeakable.

Need peace? God will give you peace that passes all understanding.

God is the GOD of hope. Put your faith in Him. Our only source of hope is in Jesus..

Singing Is Worship!

April 19, 2026

Sunday is a special invitation.

It’s not just another day on the calendar—it’s a call to come into the presence of God with joy in our hearts and praise on our lips. The Psalmist doesn’t say to come quietly, reluctantly, or out of obligation. Instead, we are told to come with gladness… and even more, to come singing.

Singing is a reflection of the heart. When we truly recognize who God is—our Savior, our Provider, our Faithful Friend—there is something within us that wants to respond. Even if our voice isn’t perfect, our praise can be.

Today, whether you are in a church service, at home, or quietly reflecting, take a moment to lift your heart in worship. Thank Him for His goodness, His mercy, and His presence in your life.

You don’t need a perfect setting—just a willing heart.

Come before Him today… and don’t forget to sing. 🎶

What Are You Seeking?

April 18, 2026

Have you found yourself chasing the treasures and pleasures of this world? Have you attempted to find peace and purpose outside of the One who created you?

It’s not too late for you, and you are not too far from God.

So what can you do? Seek Him. Call on Him. Change your ways. Turn to Him. And what will He do? He will be near. He will offer His mercy. He will forgive even the worst of your decisions, mistakes, and sins.

God is good. God is also good at being God. He created you, He loves you, and He wants a relationship with you.

You can ignore His nudges and reject His love, continuing to do things your way. So while you still can … seek Him, call on Him, change your ways, and turn to Him. He is your loving Father, and He is your merciful God.

It’s Friday!

April 17, 2026

As Friday arrives, many of us look ahead to the weekend with anticipation—time to rest, gather with loved ones, and prepare our hearts for Sunday. But before we rush ahead, Friday gives us a quiet moment to pause and reflect.

What has this week held? Blessings, challenges, opportunities to serve, and moments when the Lord carried us through. Friday is not just the end of the week—it’s a reminder to finish well. To thank God for His faithfulness and to place anything unfinished into His hands.

The same God who walked with us Monday through Thursday will be with us through the weekend ahead. We can step forward with peace, knowing He is guiding every step.

Let this Friday be a time of gratitude and trust—resting not just in the weekend, but in Him.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3

A True Friend

April 16, 2026

If you have a true friend you are blessed. If you have several good friends you are extremely blessed.

God gives us friends in our lives to come along by our side to uplift us in times of trouble or sorrow. They rejoice with us when we have joy. They are loyal. Thank God for the friends in your life.

There is a Friend that is even better than the one we have here on earth, His name is Jesus!

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:13-15

SOS Events Around The World!

April 15, 2026

This past week, something amazing happened—over 275 people from Hong Kong, China, another 137 from Singapore, and visitors from more than 50 other countries came across the SOS Events website.

Just think about that for a moment… people from all around the world, different languages, cultures, and backgrounds, all connected by one simple thing—the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

We may not be able to travel to every nation, but God has opened a door through technology that reaches where we cannot physically go. Every visit is a soul, every click a chance, every moment an opportunity for someone to come to know Christ.

It reminds us that the mission field is not just across the ocean—it’s also right at our fingertips.

Let’s continue to pray that each visitor not only sees the message, but receives it… and that God uses SOS Events to shine His light into every corner of the world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Quote From John R. Rice

April 14, 2026

“The so-called “social gospel” lays stress upon this life, not on the next. In many quarters it is now regarded as very old-fashioned and passe’ to urge people to prepare to die. Social security, better housing, relief for tenant farmers, better living conditions for the poor and the care of underprivileged children—these have occupied so much of the teaching and preaching of these modern days, that preachers have left hungry-hearted people ignorant about Heaven.”
― John R. Rice

John Rice was a powerful preacher many years ago. He has passed from this life to a new life in Heaven. His words are still even more true today.

Are you ready for Heaven?

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

Sunday A Day To Rest!

April 12, 2026

Sunday is often full—church services, conversations, meals, and responsibilities. But beyond all of that, God invites us into something deeper: rest for the soul.

This kind of rest isn’t just sitting still—it’s remembering.

Remembering how good God has been.

Remembering His faithfulness through the week.

Remembering that we are held in His care.

The psalmist didn’t say, “Find rest somewhere new.”

He said, “Return unto thy rest.”

That means your soul already knows where peace is found—in the Lord!

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Psalm 116:7 (KJV)

Two Egg Hunts On The Same Day In Florida!

April 10, 2026

This past Saturday, just before Easter, SOS Events had the privilege of being part of two special egg hunts in Florida—and God truly blessed both opportunities.

At the stadium in Plant City, families gathered for a fun-filled day of activities, laughter, and excitement. In the midst of the festivities, the Gospel was shared, and we rejoice that 5 individuals trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a reminder that even simple community events can become life-changing moments when the message of hope is presented.

At a local Missionary Baptist Church, another egg hunt brought people together in a more intimate setting. There, hearts were touched as well, and we praise the Lord that 2 people made decisions for Christ. Every soul matters, and heaven rejoices over each one.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Psalm 145:18

Egg Hunt in Pennsylvania

April 9, 2026

This past weekend at an Easter egg hunt at Valley Forge Baptist Church in Pennsylvania, something far more important than eggs being found took place—hearts were reached with the Gospel.

During this event, 3 individuals made the life-changing decision to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a blessing to see both young and older alike responding to the truth of God’s Word. From a teenager to an adult and a child, it was a beautiful reminder that the Gospel is for every age and every stage of life.

We thank the Lord for those who faithfully shared the message and for the opportunity to be a light in the community. Truly, this is what SOS Events is all about—taking the Gospel wherever people are gathered.

Let’s continue to pray for these new believers, that they will grow in their faith and follow the Lord all the days of their lives.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”Romans 10:17 (KJV)
