Folks come to the Flea Market to shop, enjoy good weather or just to have something to do. They are not looking for the answer on how to get to Heaven. Then they walk by the SOS Events booth and one of the SOS volunteers will say to them, “Come and see the 3 Things God Can Not Do.”
Yesterday, the young Mother in this photo stopped by the booth at the Plant City, Florida Flea Market and Alice had the privilege of sharing the gospel with her. She accepted Jesus as her Savior. One other person also trusted Christ. There is nothing that brings more joy in our life than to see people get saved.
SOS Events Ministry trains Christians to go to events and present the gospel in a simple non confrontational way. Saturday was one of those days when you can sit back an marvel at God’s perfect timing. Beth and Wesley were delayed at the New Site Car Show and Trade Day until after 8 am because of rain. They set up the SOS Events Ministry tent and shared the Gospel with a very small amount of passersby due to the windy and rainy weather. After a few hours most people were leaving so they decided to call it a day.
The first Thursday of every month a wonderful group of ladies volunteer to help SOS Events Ministry get the monthly newsletter ready to mail. A special THANK YOU to all the Senior Servants who come to help. They also enjoy food and fellowship while they are working.
Today is Wednesday and SOS Events volunteers will have a booth at the Plant City Flea Market as usual. Last week there were 12 decisions for salvation. You can help win people to the Lord if you will pray for souls today and every Wednesday. SOS Events workers will be there but only God Can bring people in and convict hearts.
The SOS Events Team In Tennessee is growing with new volunteers. Everyone practiced with the “3 Things God Can Not Do” display board and the A, B C’s of salvation. A special thank you to Bill and Pat Newsom who hosted the training and Ron Burlison, who drove over from Alabama to help. This team is planning for new events for the spring and summer. May God bless them with many souls as they work in many events.
