We have set aside a day of worship but actually everyday is a day that is Holy unto the Lord.
If we are in fellowship with Him, He will give us strength and joy no matter what our circumstances.

SOS Events Ministry has many opportunities to give the gospel at many different events.
Food Distributions are a great place to witness. Twice a month volunteers go to the Food Distribution in Plant City, Florida. On Saturday 18 people made decisions to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Talking to people about the Lord can take place anywhere, anytime and anyplace. Do you know how to tell others about Jesus? Fearful? Timid?
SOS Events simple method of witnessing works. We work together as teams and we can help you overcome your fear. Check out our training videos.
1 Peter 3:15 – But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
This is the final true story of children’s answers to prayer, however, there are many more that could be shared as God delights in the simple faith of children.
When Tom’s daughter, Allison, was small she was excited to go to the fireworks on 4th of July. Not wanting to disappoint her Tom drove to the busy park where the fireworks were to be displayed. There was not a parking place to be had in that crowded area that evening. He circled round several times without success.
Alison told her Dad that Jesus would find them a parking place. Tom looked in the rear view mirror and watched as Allison prayed this prayer, “Dear Jesus, my Daddy needs a parking place. Would you please give him one.”
Just then a man knocked on the window and asked Tom if he had any children in the car. Tom answered, “Yes, my daughter.”
The man said, “Every year we save a parking place for someone with a child, pull under our carport.” God hears and answers prayer.
Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation. Psalms 35:9

1 My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine;
for thee all the follies of sin I resign;
my gracious Redeemer, my Savior art thou;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
2 I love thee because thou hast first loved me
and purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree;
I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
3 I’ll love thee in life, I will love thee in death,
and praise thee as long as thou lendest me breath,
and say when the deathdew lies cold on my brow:
If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
4 In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I’ll ever adore thee in heaven so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow:
If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, ’tis now
This is an old hymn written many years ago by a young man, William Featherston, only 16 years old. What a great gift to future generations.
However, today in many churches the old hymns with heartfelt meaning are no longer sung. How sad.
Can you join with me an say “my Jesus, I love you.” He loves you.

Sunday is a wonderful day to Praise the Lord! It is not the only day we should worship. Everyday of the week we should be reading our Bible, praying and praising God for all He has done for us.

If you know and serve the Lord, Jesus, you will have riches that are worth much more than money.
Peace, joy and eternal life is for everyone who trusts Jesus as their Savior.

What do you need? Food, clothing, shelter? God promises to provide our needs, not necessarily our wants.
Seek Him first in every choice you make. He does provide our needs and because He is so good He often provides our desires.
Jesus is the One you are looking for.

Can you rejoice when things go wrong? Sickness, death of a loved one, loss of job, children on drugs or some other tragedy in your life. YES!
We don’t rejoice about the situation we are in, we rejoice that we have a Savior, Jesus, who walks through the problem with us.
It is ok to cry and even ask why, but we should never forget that God is there.
You may be questioning how I would know. I have been through many tragedies in my life time, the death of 2 sons, a grandchild and 2 wonderful husbands.
Tears and mourning, of course, but God is good. His love and mercy are always there.

There are things in life that we all struggle with! Maybe it’s fear. Fear of sickness, lack of finances, or something else.
Is your problem an addiction? Alcohol, drugs, smoking, over eating.
Even good things can become a problem. Too much television, games, anything that we do that takes the place of serving God and family.
Laziness, hatred, gossiping. All these things the Bible addresses. These are the things that we don’t talk about, but they are constantly on our mind. How do we overcome these problems in our lives?
Jesus is the answer. First, we must be sure we know Him as our Savior. Then we must trust Him to help us overcome whatever our problem is causing us to focus on the wrong thing.
Daily turn that problem over to Jesus through prayer. Find verses in the Bible that address your problem. Memorize those verses and when you are tempted to do what you are trying to overcome, repeat those verses and turn to something else to replace that desire.
You can have victory over your problems, but only if you give them to Jesus and trust Him to help you.
