Worship the KING!

July 10, 2022

Jesus is the KING of kings and LORD of lords. Worthy of our praise and worship.

What Is Your Problem?

July 9, 2022

There are things in life that we all struggle with! Maybe it’s fear. Fear of sickness, lack of finances, or something else.

Is your problem an addiction? Alcohol, drugs, smoking, over eating.

Even good things can become a problem. Too much television, games, anything that we do that takes the place of serving God and family.

Laziness, hatred, gossiping. All these things the Bible addresses. These are the things that we don’t talk about, but they are constantly on our mind. How do we overcome these problems in our lives?

Jesus is the answer. First, we must be sure we know Him as our Savior. Then we must trust Him to help us overcome whatever our problem is causing us to focus on the wrong thing.

Daily turn that problem over to Jesus through prayer. Find verses in the Bible that address your problem. Memorize those verses and when you are tempted to do what you are trying to overcome, repeat those verses and turn to something else to replace that desire.

You can have victory over your problems, but only if you give them to Jesus and trust Him to help you.

Faithful Servants

July 8, 2022

The first Thursday of the month we have a group of ladies come to the SOS Events property to get out the “ Life Saver News” the SOS Events newsletter.

Yesterday there were 16 volunteers to do the work. It was also a special day. Our annual Unbirthday party. It is not possible to celebrate everyone’s birthday when their day occurs, so we celebrate everyone’s birthday once a year.

Cake, presents, games, food and fun. A special thank you to all the Senior Servants who volunteer their time to work for SOS Events Ministry. Some of our ladies were not able to attend, we missed you.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 1 Thessalonians 1:2

Wednesday Blessings

July 7, 2022

The Lord blessed SOS Events volunteers once again at the Plant City Flea Market. 17 people accepted Jesus as their Savior yesterday.

Thank you faithful volunteers for going. It was extremely hot, temperatures in the 90’s but that did not stop them from doing what the Lord commanded. GO.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 29:19

Midweek. How Is Your Day?

July 6, 2022

Wednesday, the middle of the week. Have you had a good week so far?

Maybe you’ve had a great week or it may have been terrible.

However your week is going there is one thing that the Bible tells us to do. Rejoice!

It is easy to rejoice when things are going great, but not so easy when there are trials and trouble.

God‘s word tells us to rejoice. It is a decision. We can make up our mind to rejoice regardless of the situation. Try it. God is with you and he will never let you down.

Don’t Forget!

July 5, 2022

The Fourth of July celebration is over for this year. Many people will go back now to the same old routine, forgetting why they even celebrate it in the first place. Forgetting that we celebrated freedom and our wonderful USA.

Some people do that after they’ve accepted Jesus as their Savior. They go back to the same old routine, forgetting that they are now a child of God.

If you are someone who has forgotten that you have been forgiven, that you are a new creation in Jesus, and that your life needs to change.

Go back to the foot of the cross. Ask Jesus to forgive you for forgetting his great love and ask him to help you make a change in your life. He is waiting for you!

Thank God For Our Freedom in The USA

July 4, 2022

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36 If (Jesus) the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

True freedom is not from without. We can be bound by sin. If you live in a free country or a country that does not have freedom, maybe illness makes you feel in bondage, or maybe you are in prison, you can still have freedom in your soul.

Turn to Jesus. True freedom in any situation.

Pray for America!

July 3, 2022

Today, let us take a few minutes before we get our day started to pray for America. Land that I love. As we see the deterioration of our beloved Country, let us Christians humble ourselves and pray. Let us ask God to heal our land. He is the only one who can.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God Bless America!!

July 2, 2022

God Bless America!! Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July weekend!!

America has been blessed by the Lord since the founding of our great nation. However, our freedoms are being taken away as the focus has turned away from God. America as we have known it will have the blessing of God taken away if we do not get back to loving and honoring the one true Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, stop for just a few minutes before the picnics, parties and fireworks and pray for our country that we may return to the only hope of peace and freedom by the true worship of the Lord.

Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

There are many people from other countries who will read this. To you this verse from God’s Word is true for your nation as well as America.

Answered Prayer!

July 1, 2022

What an amazing week of answered prayer. SOS Events Ministry was blessed with many people coming to the Lord Jesus for salvation this week in Florida.

At the Plant City Flea Market 25 people accepted Jesus as their Savior.

The same day, Wednesday, 1 young lady ask Jesus to come into her heart and change he life at the Kid’s Quest in Zephyrhills .

Then in the evening, 14 souls were saved at the Freedom Celebration in Thonotosassa.

The week is not over. Praying for a great many to be saved at the Food Distribution on Saturday.

God blesses the efforts of SOS Events volunteers. Nothing will happen without them, prayer and power of the Holy Spirit.
