As our children in America go back to school soon, what we expect them to do? Learn, be obedient and respectful to their teachers and make good friends. How much more should we as Christians become as children. God wants us to study His Word, be obedient to Him, respect our pastors and teachers and have fellowship with other believers. Are you His child?
It is time for Mackenzie, Kaylen and Keira to go back to school. They have been a great blessing to SOS Events this summer as they worked at whatever task was given to them. Office tasks, cleaning and yard work were some of the things they did and always with a smile and no complaints. Each girl has also learned to witness for the Lord and that is probably the most important thing that they will glean from their time spent with SOS Events Ministry. They will be missed and we are looking forward to next vacation time for them to come back and work again. May God richly bless all 3 of the girls as they now go back to school. Thank you all for a job well done.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Florida rain storms are unpredictable. It can come down in buckets in one area a 1/2 mile away it can be sunny and nice. Yesterday was a day that in rained in different places really hard and it lasted most of the day. That did not stop the SOS Events team that goes to the Plant City Flea Market from being in their place. One person accepted Jesus as their Savior. God always blesses when we are obedient in spite of circumstances, weather included. Heaven rejoices over one sinner that repents.
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
SOS Events Ministry enjoyed a great day at Santuck Flea Market Saturday. This group of volunteers were very busy sharing the “3 Things God Cannot Do” board with 176 people and gave out over 200 tracts. Praise the Lord for the 5 people that accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!! There were 4 more that received assurance and all will be followed up with prayer and Bible study. Thank you so much for the faithful volunteers that make up this life saving ministry, Dale and Dorothy Brown Carl Norton, Patricia Sides and Wesley Walker. It’s always a great day Serving Our Savior!!

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;
and he that winneth souls is wise.
Saturday was a very busy day with SOS Events Ministry. This group of volunteers were at the Watermelon Festival in Ashland, Alabama. We shared the “3 Things God Cannot Do” board with 212 people and handed out 250 tracts. 4 people received assurance of their Salvation. We had several people come by the board and after speaking to them you could see they were being drawn by the Holy Spirit to surrender but were not ready to commit their lives to Christ. We know Who is in control and are praying for them that in God’s timing they will make the right choice. A big thank you to David Rush , Pastor Jess Page, Nan Barnes and Tina Marie Hosey for volunteering Saturday, Serving Our Savior.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

Our lives can change in a split second. Maybe it’s a phone call that a loved one has been rushed to the hospital, an accident or a unexpected death of a family member. Whatever the emergency as Christians we have someone to give us direction in that time of uncertainty and stress. Jesus is with us and will guide us through. Don’t panic but look to Him first. Stay calm, pray and trust that whatever the problem He is with you.
Proverbs 3:56 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
