God – Jesus is called God in several passages in the Bible. Along with His sinless life, miracles, and resurrection from the dead, His claims to be God stand firm.

Our Father
June 17, 2017“Any man can be a Father but it takes someone special to be a dad.”
Tomorrow is Father’s Day in the USA. A day when we honor our fathers. To some the day is a happy occasion. New fathers look at their babies and have joy in their new child. Some people are sadden on the day because their father has passed away or has abandoned the family. A day of mixed emotions. To the Christian, we know we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, and is always there, just a prayer away. We can call Him, Abba Father, which is translated “Daddy” in the English language.
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

SOS Alabama News
June 14, 2017The Santuck Flea Market in Wetumka, Alabama is held the first Saturday of each month except January and February when the weather is cold. New SOS Events leaders the Walkers have taken advantage of this opportunity and their first time there reported 53 Salvations and 4 people rededicated their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord for the decisions, the leaders and workers in Alabama. Looking forward to many more events led by this couple.

Is Your Battery Recharged?
June 13, 2017SOS Events Ministry owns a van that is used to transport things needed for events and to pick up materials and supplies. It runs very well if it is used often and is kept well maintained. However, sometimes it will not be used for several months and the battery runs down. Then it will not run until we recharge the battery. Christian life is exactly like that. If we do not maintain our hearts and minds in good spiritual condition we will run down and we can not be effective for the Lord. Our “batteries” need recharging daily by reading our Bible, prayer and seeking God’s will and blessing each day.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
New Jersey Event
June 12, 2017Praise the Lord for the New Durham Chapel Event. 7 children, 1 teen and two adults made the decision to accept our Lord Jesus as their Personal Savior. Two children and one adult received the Assurance of Salvation promised in the Scriptures.
