In 2 weeks it will be Carolyn Curtis (cofounder of SOS Events) Birthday. She will be 80 years old. Her desire is to see SOS Events Ministry reach the goal of 80,000 decisions for Christ by the end of the year, in honor of her birthday. 70,000 have been recorded, so that means that the goal for this year 2018 is 10,000 decisions. You can be part of this goal by taking part in an event or personal soul winning using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. SOS Events Ministry has Christians from all walks of life volunteering to witness at events. The testimonies of our team members are wonderful. People who came from various backgrounds, some grew up in a Christian home, former alcoholics and drug abusers (now saved and delivered), various religious backgrounds, but all have one goal in mind. To bring others into a personal relationship with Jesus. How about you? Do you have a desire to see others saved? If you do but do not know how or have fear to witness, SOS Events can help you. It does not matter what your background is, God wants to use you to be a soul winner. Check out SOS Events training videos to help you get started.

You know It’s Devine Appointment when someone pulls into Jack’s, (Jack’s is a fast food restaurant in Alabama) gets out of their car, and walks directly to the SOS Tent, to see 3 Things God Cannot Do. Ranya and Edward chose to accept Christ as their Saviour. I love working with Beth Wes Walker. Thank you Beth and Wes Walker, Team Leaders in Alabama for all you do for The Lord and SOS Events Ministry.

There is a simple way to witness at the grocery store, work break, or anywhere you meet people. You do not need one of SOS Events Ministry display boards or any other tools to do it. In conversation just ask, “Do you know there are 3 Things God cannot do?” You will get different responses but continue by telling them, God cannot lie. Titus 1:2. The second thing is found in Malachi 3:6, God cannot change. John 3:3-5 tells us that God cannot let anyone in Heaven unless he is born again, then just asked a simple question, are you 50, 75, or 100% sure if you died a day and go to heaven? When they give you an answer that is not 100% proceed with the ABC’s of salvation.

Wednesday Flea Market in Plant City, Florida is a great place to go soul winning. Yesterday 25 people were saved at this weekly event. Praise the Lord. One of our faithful Spanish speaking volunteers, Richard, (picture below) will not be able to work at this Flea Market from now on as God answered prayer and he has a new job. Richard has been a great blessing and he will be missed on Wednesdays. However, God is so good He sent not one but 2 Spanish speaking men yesterday to witness at the SOS Events Soul Winning booth. God always supplies our needs.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

SOS Events Ministry is fortunate to have office staff who not only works to keep the ministry running smoothly but are also Soul winners. Diana, our office manager, is always looking for opportunity to witness when someone new comes into the office. Recently she won a young man to the Lord who came to work on the property temporarily. Praise the Lord, who sends people to us to be saved.

It is pure joy to see people come to the Lord at SOS Events. On of the Florida Team Events held yesterday was a Community Yard Sale where 3 people received Jesus as their Savior. Pictured below is Ursula, with 2 girls at that event. Another woman, Ronnie, wrote on the back of her decision cards, “After prayer, I strongly believe I absolutely will go to Heaven when I die.”

While many people have started their Easter weekend celebrations today, there are some faithful SOS Events volunteers who are going to events to witness for the Lord Jesus. If you are busy with your own Easter preparations, please take time to pray for them and also that many souls will be saved today. Tomorrow many people will go to church that never go any other time of year. Pray for your Pastor and those who are witnesses to have power and that souls will be saved.

Have you ever decided to have company for dinner and invited a few people to come? Then a few more were in the neighborhood and you invited them also. Soon you had a houseful of guests. God wants His house to be full. That is why we should be witnesses. Many people do not get saved because we do not invite them. SOS Events Ministry teaches Christians how to invite others to be saved in a non confrontational way. This is Easter week.. invite someone to come to the Savior at this opportune time of year.
Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
