SOS Events Ministry is coming into the busiest time of the year. Fall Festivals, Races, Fairs and many other events take place between now and the middle of November. Soul winning volunteers are desperately needed in all areas. If you have been a volunteer in the past but have not participated in awhile please say yes when you are contacted to work an event. Last weekend the Ohio SOS Events team, lead by Stephanie Curtis, went to a corn Festival near Toledo. The Lord blessed these faithful team members with 26 people who invited Jesus to be their Savior. Pray for these new believers and also the Ohio team as they continue to win souls. This team is looking for new volunteers to join them.

North Alabama SOS Events had wonderful results with 99 salvations at the Russellville Watermelon Festival Aug 16 and 17 Two booths were set up with a Spanish and English presentation. Wally Blackman, pastor of East Highland Baptist, Hartselle, is shown presenting to two teenagers. New Beginning is a Hispanic church that meets at East Highland and they provided workers for the Spanish booth. Praise the Lord!!!

There are many things that get us excited and make us happy in life. Wedding plans, a new baby, success in business, when our team wins at a sporting event and many others. But, there is one thing that should bring joy and excitement in our lives as a Christian. Winning someone else to come to know Jesus as their Savior.

SOS Events Ministry enjoyed a great day at Santuck Flea Market Saturday. This group of volunteers were very busy sharing the “3 Things God Cannot Do” board with 176 people and gave out over 200 tracts. Praise the Lord for the 5 people that accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!! There were 4 more that received assurance and all will be followed up with prayer and Bible study. Thank you so much for the faithful volunteers that make up this life saving ministry, Dale and Dorothy Brown Carl Norton, Patricia Sides and Wesley Walker. It’s always a great day Serving Our Savior!!

Yesterday, 7 precious people chose to accept Jesus at the Plant City Flea Market in Florida. Randy Thomas (in the blue shirt) had the privilege of leading this entire family to the Lord.

Kaylen and Keira witnessed at their first SOS Events event on Saturday. They both are interns this summer at the home office in Dover, Florida. They both did a wonderful job at the display board and were successful in presenting the “3 Things God Can Not Do.” It is a great blessing to have part in training these young girls to not only do office work but more importantly, teaching them to witness for the Lord. They will soon be back in school and will not work with the ministry until vacations or next summer. They will be missed.

Saturday, some of the Florida SOS Events Team went to Riverview to the YMCA Camp Christina campus where several hundred back to school backpacks were distributed to children that are going back to school in just a few weeks. This event is a great opportunity to win people to the Lord as parents come with the children and whole families get to hear the gospel. 26 people received Jesus as their Savior.
