Sometimes life is hard. Maybe you are struggling with a spouse who is ill, a child who has problems or someone who is making your life miserable. You need strength to get through this day. You have someone that gives strength when you have to do something extremely hard. Jesus is with you. Giving you what you need to get through the day. Ask Him to help you.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Our lives can change in a split second. Maybe it’s a phone call that a loved one has been rushed to the hospital, an accident or a unexpected death of a family member. Whatever the emergency as Christians we have someone to give us direction in that time of uncertainty and stress. Jesus is with us and will guide us through. Don’t panic but look to Him first. Stay calm, pray and trust that whatever the problem He is with you.
Proverbs 3:56 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Have you ever been on a trip, in a hospital or just visiting but you are longing for home? There is an old saying “Home is where the heart is”. How true. We can be in any place and still feel at home if we are surrounded by people we love. As Christians we should be long for HOME. Our heavenly home where we shall see Jesus and be reunited with family and friends who have gone one before us. However, while we are still traveling this earth we do have our loved One Jesus, who is with us 24/7 no matter where we are. So, today, wherever you are you can feel at home with your Comforter and Friend Jesus but looking forward to the day when we will reach our Heavenly home.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Five children and one teenager made decisions to follow Jesus at the Freedom Festival in Florida. Several of the children had been at Vacation Bible School all week and they came into the booth to hear the gospel again and make sure of their salvation. We always rejoice when an adult or senior citizen accepts Christ, but a child has many more years to serve the Lord and Jesus welcomes them into the family of God.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
No power, no internet, no coffee, no lights, no water (pump runs water from a well). Thankfully morning comes and we have light from the sun. We are so dependent on electricity for our lifestyle that without it we seem powerless to do anything.
As Christians we have a source of power that never goes out. Jesus is the light and the power in our lives to do everything we need to do. We can do all things through Jesus. He has promised us in His Word. Do not loose your power by neglecting to read the Bible and pray everyday. We can think the power has gone out but He is waiting for us to reconnect.
