Who Is First In Your Life?

Who is first in your life? Your spouse, children, boyfriend or girlfriend? Maybe you put yourself first.

The Bible tells us who should be first. if you want to be successful in your relationship with others, then Jesus should be the One who is first in your life.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37

The Good Shepherd!

Jesus is THE GOOD SHEPHERD, however, someone else is a shepherd also, he is the Pastor of your church.

Pastors look after their flock. That is you and me. They look for lost souls, they bring comfort when we are sick or hurt, they keep us from getting into sin through their preaching.

Pastors who love Jesus and look to Him for help and guidance, they want their sheep to follow Him. Pray for your pastor today!

Where Do You walk?

Many of us walk for exercise. We may have a favorite place outside, like a park, or inside at a gym.

Some people walk from necessity, they live in a city or they do not have transportation.

However, there is a place we all need to walk spiritually. The Bible tells us to walk in the light. Jesus is that light. Are you walking with Jesus?

Can I Ask God’s Blessing On This?

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23

Can I ask God’s blessing on this? This is a great question to ask whatever we plan to do.

When we live our lives doing things we want or think we should, without thinking how will this effect our relationship with God, we are in danger of falling into sin.

If you have never trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that is the first thing you need to do to receive a blessing from God.

Once you have done that, then everything else we do should be done to honor and glorify God.

Do You Need A Heart Transplant?

We all need a clean heart. If we have not received Jesus as our Savior, our hearts are hard because of sin. We need. heart transplant.

God’s Word tells us He will create a new heart within us. The Holy Spirit comes in and helps us live a life that is pleasing to God.

Are you a VIP in God’s sight?

You are very important to God. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to come to earth as a baby, grow up and do many miracles, then be crucified on a cross, was buried and rose again.

He did that for you! He loves you. Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior? When you do you become a child of God. A very important person to Him.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John1:12

Today is William Slater’s birthday. He is the Chairman of the Board of SOS EVents Ministry.

It is wonderful to have a birthday to celebrate, but even better to have been born again. Thankfully, William accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was a child. So he can celebrate his physical birth as well as his spiritual birth.

Peace in a Troubled World!

How can we have peace in this world of troubles? Wars, illness, poverty, unrest and all the problems we see in our country and even in our own lives.

Jesus gives us the answer in the Bible. Peace comes from knowing and trusting in Jesus. Are the troubles still there? Yes, but Jesus can give a peace that is beyond our understanding.

If you are worried or burdened about anything, give all those burdens to the Lord! He wants to give you peace.
