The main thing we should be thankful for is Jesus who came to earth to die on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day. He took away all our sin if we trust in Him as Lord and Savior.
Sing for joy and kneel before Him with gratitude in our heart!

We do not have to live in defeat! God gives us victory through Jesus.
If you are feeling defeated over a sin in your life, depression or loss, turn to Jesus who is wanting to give you victory.
Our lives can be in chaos. We may have sorrow, sickness, problems. The world around us seems to be falling apart, but in spite of it all we can have peace in our hearts. God gives us peace that passes all understanding.
If you are going through a rough time, ask God to give you peace. You will be amazed at the result when you trust fully in Him.
Did you know that giving thanks gives good health?
“Studies on gratitude have shown measurable effects on everything from neurotransmitters (serotonin, norepinephrine), social bonding hormones (oxytocin), cognitive and pleasure related neurotransmitters (dopamine), to inflammatory and immune systems stress hormones (cortisol), cardiac and EEG rhythms, blood pressure, and blood sugar, according to Doraiswamy. Other medical studies have indicated a thankful attitude reduces stress and boosts immunity.” Dr. P. Doraiswamy
Are you thankful for everything? In times of great distress in your life can you give thanks?
Jesus can bring comfort and joy!
For the next week, everyday until Thanksgiving Day a new Bible verse will focus on our thankfulness to God.
No matter what our circumstance in life right now, Jesus is worthy of our praise and thanksgiving to Him.
Why no Christmas decorations yet? Christmas is wonderful! The lights, beautiful tress, wreaths and everything that makes the ordinary sparkle. But, lest we forget, there is a Holiday in the USA that is unique. THANKSGIVING.
A time set aside to thank God for all His bountiful blessings. Pilgrims, fall leaves, pumpkins and other decorations of the autumn season still are prominent in my home.
The day after Thanksgiving, everything will change, and then the Christmas decor will be back.
(This is a personal choice. May God bless those who love Christmas so much they are decorated already.)
