God’s Word gives us the answer to what we should think about. If we think positive thoughts we will be happy and contented no matter what our circumstances.
Thinking negatively will only cause us to be anxious and worry. Negative thinking is not trusting in God.
Tired of all the bad news on TV, radio or media. Disasters, war, sickness, accidents and death!
GOOD NEWS! We do not have to worry or be concerned about any of it. There is a future for everyone who have put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. He died on the cross and rose again so that we can go to Heaven.
This world and all the woes are just temporary. We have a home in Heaven with no more tears, sickness, sorrow or death! That is God’s promise.
What are you looking for? Success, good health, a friend or an answer to a problem.
There is only one person who can help you with whatever you need, his name is Jesus.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (The book is the Bible)
Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
John 15:15 – Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
If you have a Pastor who preaches truth from God’s Word, is not afraid to tell of the sin that may be in your life, warns of evil that may entice you to sin, be thankful. Pray for him that he will have the power of the Holy Spirit, that he will not be afraid of offending someone when he is bold to tell the truth.
Encourage him with a kind word or send him a note once in awhile. Tell him you are praying for him and appreciate what he does.
1 Timothy 5:17 – Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Hebrews 13:17 – Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
