This is a wonderful Bible verse for all who are in the work of the LORD!
Sometimes you may get tired. Things don’t seem to make a difference. God tells us in His Word, do not be weary, keep going. What you do for the LORD is not useless.
God has given us a job to do. It may be what seems to be small or He may have given you a tremendous responsibility. Whatever it is it is important. Whatever you do, do it to honor God.
Think about all the wonderful things God has done for you.
When things are not going like we want, we tend to complain and get discouraged. That is the time to stop and remember how good God has been to you in the past. He promises to be with you and bring you through the rough times.
Keep serving the LORD and trust Him with the good things He is going to do for you.
1 Timothy 5:17 – Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine

Christmas is over, time to take down the beautiful decorations and keeping in our hearts the memories of Christmas 2024
It always makes me sad to put away those wonderful things that make Christmas special every year. As we put away the lights, tree, nativity sets, let us NOT put away the truth of Christmas, Jesus was born into this world to be our Savior, and it is our responsibility to tell others. So let us make a resolution to be better witnesses in 2025 and Serve Our Savior with more zeal than we ever had before.
Witnessing is a responsibility for every Christian. Tell someone about our wonderful Savior. In person is best. But, we can make phone calls, write notes and use social media to be a witness for the Lord. Be creative.
Think of someone today who needs the Lord and pray for him or her, and then contact them. People need the Lord now more than ever.
Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
A New Year! Some people have resolutions. They are going to loose weight, budget their money, meet a goal that has been put off for a long time. Usually, our resolutions last a week, a month but soon they are forgotten and we fall back into our old ways.
There is someone who can help you with your new goals. his name is Jesus. Jesus wants a relationship with you. He will help you. Jesus cares about you, and loves you unconditionally.
So, today, January 1, 2025 let’s make a resolution that we can keep. Everyday will be a new day. Start each day with Jesus.
Some of us have a lot of time in the morning to read the Bible and pray. Many of us have busy chaotic mornings getting ready for work, children off to school, babies who demand attention.
It only takes a minute to breathe a quick prayer. As you get dressed for work, pray for your coworkers. Packing lunches, pray for your spouse and children.
Put a post note on your bathroom mirror with a favorite Bible verse. It isn’t the quantity of time, it is the quality. Jesus wants to walk with you and talk with you throughout your day.
Start your New Year with Jesus. That is one resolution that you cannot fail. Jesus never fails.
Isaiah 43:18&19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Many people will be celebrating New Year’s Eve tonight drinking, going to parties, etc., only to start the New Year with a headache and hangover. We can start our New Year with a clean heart.
Christians take time this evening to pray for forgiveness for the unconfessed sins that we have committed.
If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior there is no better way to start a new year than becoming a new person in Christ.
Happy New Year. May 2025 bring you and your loved ones peace and joy that only the Lord can give.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The account of the wise men who came to worship Jesus is found in Matthew 2:1-12. Tradition says they were three kings who came from the east but the country they came from is not mentioned. They were thought to be 3 because of the number of gifts and kings because of the value of the gold, frankincense and myrrh.
They followed a star which appeared in the heavens until they came to Jerusalem and inquired of Herod where the King was born. Herod wanted to know more about this baby and asked the wise men to bring news of His whereabouts when they found Him. They continued to follow the star, presented their gifts and worshiped Jesus.
Jesus was not in the manger at the time the wise men found him, as is often pictured in Christmas cards and manger scenes, but was now a young child as the Bible states. Probably about 2 years old or a little younger and was in a house with Mary his mother. Then being warned in a dream the wise men went a different way back to their country and did not report to Herod.
There is a saying,”Wise men still seek Him”. Are you seeking Jesus? What He wants is our desire to follow Him as the wise men followed the star and to worship Him and give the gift of ourselves to Him. Are you wise?
Matthew 2:1-2 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him
Friendship is a special blessing from the Lord! It is wonderful, especially at Christmas time to fellowship and gather together.
This Christmas Season, take time to be with your friends. Maybe that may not be possible, then let them know how much you appreciate them with a special card, phone call or small gift.
Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel. Proverbs 27:9
What a wonderful verse to start with for the month of December! God does supply all our needs.
Some people have abundance of money and material things. Others have very little. The Christmas season is a time for giving. It is not the cost of the gifts, it is the gift given from the heart that counts.
A phone call, letter or an invitation for a meal can mean more than the most expensive present in the world. Your time with your friends and family is the most meaningful gift you can give.
God wants the same thing. You can give a large offering, go to church or do some charity work, but the most important thing you can give to God is time to read His word, pray and then tell someone else about His special gift, the Lord Jesus
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
December is the month we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We can get overwhelmed by shopping, parties, decorations and various activities that only happen this time of year.
All of it is good and exciting, as long as we remember the reason for the season is Jesus. Put Him first on your daily to do list. Everything else will then fall into place and we will have true peace and joy that only He can give.
