January 27, 2018Sometimes, we forget to thank God for all the things that he does for us all the time. Things like keeping us safe when we travel, giving us food and shelter and all of our needs. We don’t think about the little daily things until something happens and we don’t have them anymore. People that have lost their homes because of disaster, like fires or floods. Lost love ones, through sickness, accident or old age. Today, let us look around and see all the things that we have. And praise God for all the little things.
Psalms 104:33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Encourage Yourself
January 26, 2018Sometimes we get discouraged and look at our life negatively. In the Bible, David, had a lot of reasons to be discouraged. His Brothers treated him with no respect, Saul tried to kill him, and he had many enemies. But, he encouraged himself, went on to become king and was a man after God’s heart. Not a perfect man, but a good example for us. So today, whatever your problem, encourage yourself to do right, look to God for the answer and you will have a happier, healthier life.
1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
Reaching the Lost

SOS Events Ministry partners with local churches to train Christians to win the lost. The goal of SOS Events is to reach the USA and beyond with people who want to win souls and go out into the marketplace to find them. Most people today will not come to church to find out how to get to Heaven. We have to GO and reach them where they are. Want to be a soul winner? We want to help. We Are In The Army

This is a picture of our modern day Calvary! We as Christians are in the army also. We fight not against a physical enemy but a spiritual one. The Bible tells us to fight the good fight. So hang in there Christian. The battle is not over until Jesus comes to take us home. Then we will see Jesus win over our Adversary and his followers.
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Work vs. Handouts
January 23, 2018The Bible has a lot to say about working and providing for yourself and your family. Unless we are too old, too sick, or a caregiver for children or someone in our family we should work. If you cannot find the job you are qualified for take anything until something better comes along. A young man could not find a job and came to do hard outside work for SOS Events. He was not only on time but would come at least 15 minutes early. He worked diligently for small pay. We prayed and within a month he had a great paying job where he made an excellent wage plus benefits. We sure miss this hard worker. Christians, GOD will supply.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Meeting Day
January 20, 2018Today, Board Members, Staff, and Volunteers of SOS Events Florida Team will meet for our first annual Florida meeting. It will be a time of instruction, encouragement,food and fellowship. A great day is planned and hopefully those who come will get a greater vision for winning souls, encouraging other Christians to get out and be witnesses for the Lord. Everyone who is a soul winner is on the “front line” Serving Our Savior. We all need encouragement to keep up the good fight until the Lord comes and the battle will be won.

Children Your Heritage
January 19, 2018If we have children and grandchildren we are abundantly blessed. God tells us that they are our heritage. Sometimes they make us so happy and other times they hurt and disappoint, but God has given us the most wonderful gift and also with that responsibility. If you have children in your life the first thing you need to do is be a Christlike example. Love them unconditionally. Then pray for them and pray for them (duplicate on purpose). The devil is a roaring lion waiting to devour them.
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Be Glad
January 18, 2018No matter what the circumstance, weather or trial in your life, God tells us to rejoice and be glad. Not always easy to do but God will bless if we rejoice out of obedience even if we don’t feel it at the moment. The key is “we will”.
