Your Pastor needs your prayers. He has a great responsibility. He has family, his whole congregation, including you.
Make it a habit to pray for him every week, especially when he is going to preach. Pray for wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit for him that the unsaved will hear and be saved and the believers will be convicted and get their heats right with God.
Usually the term VIP, means Very Important Person.
Are you a VIP in God’s sight?
You are very important to God. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to come to earth as a baby, grow up and do many miracles, then be crucified on a cross, was buried and rose again.
He did that for you! He loves you. Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior? When you do you become a child of God. A very important person to Him.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John1:12
Yesterday, this family was blessed with adding this little girl into their lives thought adoption. Both their son and now daughter, who are biological siblings, have been welcomed into their home. Congratulations!
We all need to be adopted into God’s family. There is only one way we can be officially adopted. We must accept Jesus as our Savior.
He is the judge. Someday we will all stand before Him and the acceptance into His home, Heaven, will be if we have trusted Jesus as our Savior.
Are you adopted? If not trust Jesus today.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Ephesians 1:5
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26
After a hurricane many people lost power. We don’t realize how much we depend on electricity in our lives. No light, no hot food, no communication via internet or social media.we want our power back as soon as possible.
In our Christian life we can loose power also. We quench the Holy Spirit by the way we live. No prayer, no communication with God. We stop Bible reading, praying and fellowshiping with other spiritual Christians and we don’t tell others about Jesus. We need our power back!
We have to depend on the linemen to restore our electricity. We have no control over that.
And we need to depend on God to restore our Power. However, we need to confess our sin and ask for power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Let us get our Spiritual Power turned back on!
God tells all of us as Christians to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. Very few Christians obey that command today.
Why do churches and ministries like SOS Events have a hard time finding willing workers to go out and witness? The voice of God is not being heard.
God calls you if you are a born again Christian to GO. SOS Events is the perfect path to give you the opportunity to witness in a simple non confrontational way.
There are training videos on the website for you to learn this simple way to witness. Use the 3 Things God Can Not Do to witness to an individual or at an event with other SOS Events volunteers.
“Jesus made everything so simple and we have made it so complicated. He spoke to the people in short sentences and everyday words, illustrating His messages with never-to-be forgotten stories.”Billy Graham
SOS Events method of winning people to The Lord follow the simple way that Jesus used to bring people to salvation.
The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is simple, short and easy to understand by people of all ages. Also, we go where the crowds gather, fairs, flea markets, yard sales, wherever there are people.
It works. In 21 years over 80,000 decisions have been recorded. There is always room for more soul winners. You can learn this simple way and SOS can supply everything you need to get started. Contact: info@sosevents.org
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Adrian Rogers had some great sermons which are still recorded and broadcasted on radio and YouTube. His message on soul winning is one of the best I’ve ever heard.
This is what he said about Christians who use the excuse they don’t have the gift of soul winning. “Soul winning is not a gift, it is a command.”
He also said that 90% of Christians have never even lead one person to the Lord. The tragedy is that most Christians don’t even care.
This is a sad commentary and it must break God’s heart. Jesus came to earth, was crucified, buried and rose again that people may be saved. How about you? Are you making a difference?
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:20
“We are too busy to pray, and so we are too busy to have power. We have a great deal of activity, but we accomplish little. Many services, but few conversions; much machinery, but few results.” – R.A. Torrey
Our churches have become a place for programs instead of powerful preaching. Buildings instead of blessings. Entertainment instead of enlightenment.
Pray for revival in our hearts first, then in the pastors and finally for souls to be saved. Let us get back to power of the Holy Spirit that we may see true revival.
There have been days that I have not felt like rejoicing. During times of illness of myself or loved ones. When my spouse went home to be with the Lord! Grief.
But, God’s Word tells us to rejoice. Is it possible in difficult circumstances. Yes, if we have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus, He gives us the ability to rejoice in our hearts.
Do we shed tears? Of course, but we have a Savior that gives us inner joy and peace through the most trying times.
So today, if you are having a good day or a difficult day, stop, rejoice and thank the Lord for His blessings.
