Every morning is good when we have God’s promises to bless us.
Saturday was a great day Serving Our Savior!!! SOS Events Ministry was at the Fall Festival in Dadeville and we couldn’t be more thankful for the 17 decisions. We all had some very special moments as lives were changed and the Kingdom added to. A big thank you to Tina Marie Hosey and Lewis Jernigan for coming out to volunteer. I have to add that this was Lewis’s very first event and he did great!!! Thank you to Pastor Jess Page for coming out to encourage us and support Ireland in her first soap box derby. Thank you Fred Slater for stopping in and working the board and for building a awesome soap box derby car for Ireland which was a SOS theme. We had 186 board presentations and handed out 200 tracts and did I mention it was HOT!! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Octoberfest in Alexander city next weekend and as always we thank the Lord for this life saving ministry.
Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
The Bible is Timeless, Truthful, Trustworthy and Treasured.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Do you want to see God Work in your life? He will if we do what He commands. Want wisdom? Go soul winning. Want joy? Be filled with the Spirit. Want healing? Pray. There are many more promises in the Bible, many of them have something for us to do. Search the scriptures for the answer.
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

On Saturday was a good time of fellowship when several of SOS Events Senior Servants gathered together to have this photo taken at the Birthday Party in honor of Sarah’s 80th Birthday. Her family held a surprise party at her church. SOS Events is not only a ministry to serve the Lord but the friendships that have developed over the years are one of the many blessings God gives when we serve Him.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

This rainbow was behind the SOS Events property last evening. What a great visual reminder of God’s promises and love to us.
Ezekiel 1:28 As Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord……
On the first Thursday of every month, a wonderful group of ladies volunteer to help with the SOS Events newsletter. This group started out with 3 ladies who wanted to work for the Lord but could no longer get out. Now our Senior Servants Group has grown to about 25, from several different churches and denominations. They are not all seniors. It is great to see Christians from different places, backgrounds and churches work together and enjoy the food and fellowship. (This is one of three tables of ladies yesterday)
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

On July 24, Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry tripped over a vine in her yard and broke her hip. Surgery the next day and two weeks of intensive rehabilitation and she is finally home and able to take on the responsibilities of the ministry again. A special thanks to the office staff of SOS Events, Diana, Alice and Jan who kept things running smoothly as they always do. God has blessed SOS Events with great workers both in the home office and the great soul winners that go to events. Please continue prayer for Carolyn as she recovers at home. Projection for complete recovery is 3 to six months.
To God be the glory for the progress that has been made for Carolyn as she is doing extremely well. God is good.
Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
