2 SOS Events in Florida on Saturday

Last Saturday was a busy day for the SOS Events Florida team. In Plant City, FL There was a food distribution. 15 people made decisions to follow Jesus as their Savior.
At the same time in Dade City there was a Festival where the Florida Team had the privilege of leading 24 people to Jesus.
It is always hard when several events are on the same day in an area, but God blesses with many souls at each event.
We are truly blessed and we know we will reap if we faint not.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
16 Souls

It was a beautiful day on Saturday in Dover, Florida. The Annual Rod Run (a car show) took place at Dover First Baptist Church. The weather was great! (The umbrella is to keep off the sun.)
God blessed with 16 salvations.
One grandmother approached the booth with 2 precious little girls, Gracie who was 5 years old and her sister who was 3.
Grandmother said,”I want them to hear about Jesus.”
Because they were so young the SOS Events soul winner told them in simple words about Jesus, how he was born and grew up and died on the cross so they could go to Heaven.
Then took their names and address to send them an age appropriate Bible study. Then grandmother will have opportunity to led them to the Lord when they are ready.
SOS Events volunteers allows the Holy Spirit to give wisdom when witnessing to people.
Isaiah 11:2
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
James Dean Days in Fairmount, Indiana

James Dean Days in Indiana is a wonderful place to present the gospel to people from all over the USA and places beyond. SOS Events have 2 locations this year.
A booth where the concessions are and then another location at the car show. Ed and Rhonda brought their antique car from Ohio to the car show.
Loraine and Larry drove in from Michigan. Stephanie flew in from Florida to work the SOS Events booth along with members of Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser, Indiana.
There were many obstacles to overcome in the beginning, but God blessed with over 30 salvations yesterday. Please pray for today and tomorrow that more souls will be saved.

SOS Events New Website

If you are reading this you are on the new website for SOS Events. There are some exciting new pages, a children’s page, something special for teens and young adults.
The opportunity for many people throughout the world to click on and receive the gospel is wonderful. And the Bible studies that can be completed online is amazing.
There are a few things that need to be corrected, so please be patient and enjoy what has been done.
Praise the Lord for the technology to reach out and witness to a multitude of people.

God Blessed SOS Events Training

We had a great turnout (15) for SOS Event Training at Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid, FL on Sunday. Co-founder Carolyn Curtis and Stephanie Curtis were the Event Leaders. I’m looking forward to see how God is going to use the Faith Baptist Church SOS Team to build the Kingdom.

God Hears and Answers Prayer

Do you ever feel like your prayers do not go any farther than the ceiling?
That is not true. God’s Word tells us He hears and answers our prayer.
But, our prayers can be hindered by several things, sin in our lives, unbelief, trying to get the answer ourselves, disobedience and not waiting are just a few things that may hinder our prayers.
The secret is in this verse. Love the Lord. The closer we are to Him, the more our prayers will be in line for His will for us.
God Turns Stress To Joy
September 16, 2021The day started out with some stress. Everything was set at the Plant city fleamarket, when the team realized they forgot the table to set the display on. What did they do?
Called and asked someone to bring a table to them. This was very early in the morning but in about 45 minutes the table arrived.
Then God blessed with 14 people who made decisions to follow Jesus. When we are faithful and do not let situations cause us to quit, God blesses our faithfulness with wonderful results. He turned that day of stress into pure joy and rejoicing over the 14 people who were saved.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5&6
