Everyday we can find something that we can rejoice. It may be something so small, like a butterfly, or a beautiful flower. Maybe a colored leaf in the autumn or a look at the full moon.
If you feel down, depressed or lonely think about a blessing that the Lord has done for you. Jesus is there. He knows your struggles and troubles.
To all the Dads. Happy Father’s Day. May God bless you with wisdom, strength and knowledge to be the best father to your children.
Today is a day we honor our fathers. If you are blessed to have your Dad still here on earth, honor him today with a phone call, card, gift or just tell him I love you.
Maybe your father was not in your life and that makes you sad or resentful. I have good news for you. You have a Heavenly Father who is perfect and He loves you with an unconditional love.
We have so much that we can thank the Lord for. His precious promises in His Word the Bible.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
These are just a few of many promises in the Bible. We can look and see which promise we need for today.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday are great opportunities for people to hear the gospel in Michigan. Yesterday, the SOS Events Team in Michigan had the privilege of leading over 20 people to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Please pray with us that the next two days will see many more people come to the Lord.
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. I Timothy 2:1-4

SOS Events Ministry Leaders in Florida have been praying for new volunteers at the Plant City Flea Market, especially Bilingual people. Yesterday, a Hispanic Pastor and his family came by to help.
This event takes place every week and our prayer is that a different team will take one week a month on Wednesdays. God answered that prayer.
The team from Lakeland, Fl will do one week. Another man and his team will take a week, and the Pastor who visited yesterday will take the third week. That leaves the week left for our regular team. God answers prayer.
Not only that blessing but 31 people accepted Jesus as their Savior yesterday. God is great!
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7
This Bible Verse is especially for all the Leaders, Trainers and Volunteers for SOS Events Ministry. Thank you for your time and talent you give to Serve Our Savior together. You are very much appreciated.
This verse is also an encouragement to all Christian workers. Pastors, teachers and volunteers who work tirelessly to get the gospel to the people of this world.
God has promised rewards for those who work for Him. In Heaven we will lay those crowns at Jesus feet.
Let us not be weary in well doing. We will reap if we faint not.
In the past few months, Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry has had many opportunities to speak at churches, organizations and to individuals giving her testimony and telling others how they can witness to people using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
God has blessed with new volunteers, new supporters and more importantly people learning how to witness. All the praise belongs to the Lord for these opportunities.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalms 34:1-3
This is an actual photo of a church in Virginia that supports SOS Events. What a great image of God’s protection in a storm.
In our lives many storms come. God is always there, protecting His children. We can trust Jesus to get us through whatever storm we may face.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6
