So Many Opportunities!

There were so many opportunities for Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, this past weekend at the James Dean Festival in Indiana.

Not only the blessing of winning people to the Lord, (the biggest blessing) but speaking at a Missions Conference at Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser on Thursday evening.

Then at the Festival on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday another opportunity at New Hope Church in Gas City, where she gave her testimony to the adult Sunday School class, and gave a brief report about SOS Events in the church service.

Why all the activity? Salvations of souls is the first priority. Then new teams of volunteers for the Indiana area. At the festival at least 2 people expressed desire to get involved in witnessing with SOS Events.

At Liberty a gentleman wants to find more volunteers and create a new SOS Team.

At New Hope a lady from another area in Indiana goes to a church that will begin to use SOS in her church this October.

God blesses whatever we do if we do it for Him. Praise the Lord for all the blessings of he past weekend.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17

James Dean Rod Run, 134 Salvations!

James Dean Rod Run Car Show is over, but the lives of 134 people as Christians are just beginning.

God gave the SOS Events Team wonderful success on the weekend. Beautiful weather, great teamwork and most importantly opportunity to witness and bring others to Jesus.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. He is the one who draws the people to the SOS Events booth.

As we lift up the name of Jesus, He draws people to us.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32

33 New Members of the Family of God

Welcome to the family! Yesterday at the James Dean Car Show in Indiana, 33 people accepted Jesus as their Savior and were born into the family of God.

All the praise and glory belongs to the Lord!

2 SOS Events Teams Meet in Indiana

Once again two SOS Teams come together in Indiana to set up at the James Dean Day Car Show.

Ed and Rhonda from Ohio drove 2 of their antique cars to Marion, IN. This was very successful last year. 151 people accepted Jesus as their Savior.

Carolyn, Alice and Stephanie flew in from Florida to tell others of the Love of Jesus using the 3 Things God Can Not Do.

Please pray with us that many souls will be saved in the next 3 days.

Mark 16:15 – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The Sunshine State Quartet will be singing at SOS Events Annual Celebration on April 6th next year.

You may think it is too early to announce the event, but this event is planned far in advance for YOU. It is a time SOS Leaders, volunteers, supporters and friends get together and rejoice over what God has done through the ministry the past year.

Plan on attending for the food, fun and fellowship. There is no cost, Everyone is welcome. Donations are appreciated.

SOS Events Presentation

September 18, 2023

Wednesday Evening Service at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, Carolyn Curtis, Stephanie Curtis, Alice Thomas, Diana Guiliano along with the Sunshine State Quartet had the blessing of presenting SOS Events Ministry to the congregation.

Thank you, Pastor Ivey for the opportunity. This church is already active in spreading the gospel with SOS Events , however, the Pastor wanted to remind the current volunteers and encourage the rest of the congregation to witness for the Lord.

On September 30 they are having a Fall Festival where the SOS Events booth will be the first thing people attending will see. Pray souls will be saved at this event.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18

Your Pastor Meeds Your Prayers.

Pastors need prayer. Especially on Sunday morning when they are preparing to preach so that people may be saved, and Christians may be fed God’s word.

To often we expect our Pastor to be perfect. He has a great burden on his shoulders. He has his family, all of the congregation, including you on his heart and mind.

Today, instead of looking for something to complain about in him, let us pray that our pastor will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Go to church with determination to uplift the Pastor with prayer and encouragement.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18 KJV
