Jesus Prayed In The Garden

March 28, 2024

Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

The Lord’s Supper

March 27, 2024

His death.

It was here He reminded the disciples that they were to remember His death until He comes back.

What a wonderful promise. Jesus is coming back to gather everyone who has trusted Him as Lord and Savior.

Communion does not take away our sin. It is a time of remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He died so we can have eternal life.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior?

Preparing For Easter

March 26, 2024

Easter is less than a week away and many are getting ready. The stores are full of candy, clothes and decorations for the Easter celebrations but very little if any have anything pointing to the true meaning of Easter.

The death, burial and resurrection of The Lord and Savior, Jesus. As we prepare for time with family and friends for Easter, let us remember the true reason why we celebrate. Jesus resurrection is proof that there is life after death and we can be sure of eternal life if we accept Jesus as our Savior.

2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Jesus Righteous Anger

March 25, 2024
My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

”And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.“
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus did many things the week before Resurrection Day. This week we will see how Jesus prepared for His death, burial and resurrection.

Palm Sunday! Honoring Jesus!

March 24, 2024

Hosanna! The King has come. As Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, a large crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road, giving Jesus royal treatment. The hundreds of people shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

A Precious Promise Of God!

March 23, 2024

There is victory in Jesus. His death, burial and resurrection gave us the promise of eternal life if we trust in Him.

As we are looking forward to Resurrection Sunday next week take time to reflect on His sacrifice with joy and thankfulness.

Encouragement For Christian Workers

March 21, 2024

This Bible Verse is especially for all the Leaders, Trainers and Volunteers for SOS Events Ministry. Thank you for your time and talent you give to Serve Our Savior together. You are very much appreciated.

This verse is also an encouragement to all Christian workers. Pastors, teachers and volunteers who work tirelessly to get the gospel to the people of this world.

God has promised rewards for those who work for Him. In Heaven we will lay those crowns at Jesus feet.

Let us not be weary in well doing. We will reap if we faint not.
