And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23
On Wednesday this week at the Plant City Flea Market, 9 people trusted Jesus as their Savior. Thank you to the SOS Events volunteers who brave the heat in Florida to go out and witness on Wednesdays.
Today, there is another opportunity for SOS Events at a Jeep car show at Turkey Creek Baptist Church. This is a new event for SOS. Please join us in prayer for people to be saved, volunteers to be filled with the Holy Spirit and that this event will be blessed.
“You are so loved that even while you were running away from God, He was running after you. He sent His Son Jesus to die for you so you could be free, forgiven, and reconnected with God. He wants you to enjoy life with Him now and for eternity.”
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5
This beautiful old hymn reminds me that Jesus is with me always.
I come to the garden alone While the dew is still on roses And the voice I hear falling on my ear The son of God discloses
And he walks with me and he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of his voice Is so sweet, the birds hush their singing And the melody that he gave to me Within my heart is ringing
And he walks with me and he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
He does walk with me and He does talk to me in the quietness of the early morning when I read His word and communicate with Him through prayer.
Most of us start our day with a cup of coffee. The most important way to start our mornings though, is to spend it with Jesus. We must not neglect to read His Word and pray. That is a perfect way to start our day along with the coffee.
Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
It is so important that we pray for our children and grandchildren. This photo was taken a year ago, it is Carolyn Curtis and some of her grandchildren.
The family is still growing as several more have been added since then.
Carolyn knows that praying for the children in the family is key to their health, safety and salvation. Her grandmother prayed for her when she was a small child.
Those prayers followed her into her teen years when she finally accepted Jesus as her Savior.
Today, her prayers are for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The newest great grandson, Jace William, needs special prayer. He is a newborn with some physical issues. He will need an operation on his heart in the near future. Please join Carolyn in prayer for this precious baby boy.
