“The secret of praying is praying in secret. A sinning man will stop praying, and a praying man will stop sinning.”
Leonard Ravenhill
Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
The first followers of Christ were told to build Gods church and fill God’s kingdom. Some where along the way many have changed what God said to do. Many decided to build their church and have, created 30,000 to 40,000 new denominations. God told man to go into the market place and preach the gospel. Would this be something you would want to do? And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
What a blessing! On Wednesdays there is a Farmers Market in Plant City, FL. SOS has been setting up a booth in that Event for several months. Usually 2 or 3 make decisions for Christ but yesterday our SOS team won 14 precious souls to The Lord.
A Hispanic Pastor worked for about one hour and we are grateful as the majority of the people are Spanish. Pray with us for more Spanish workers and thank The Lord for our faithful team.
Pictured are Randy Mlinek with 2 converts from the Plant City Farmers Market.
Matthew 9:38
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

Matthew 24:42
Watch therefore:for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Carolyn and I do not get much free time as SOS Events grows, we get busier and to find a few hours to go somewhere for relaxation is very hard to do. But finally we did have a few hours to get away and decided to go over to Busch Gardens for lunch. (We were given a yearly pass as a gift)
We decided to ride the train around the park as it is a great way to view all the animals in natural habitat.
The line was long and it was about a 15 minute wait, when a boy came up to me asked me if I’d like to sit down. I gave him a Bible track and found out that he was a born-again Christian whose name is Malachi 11 years old very nice young man. He and his family were visiting from Michigan.
It is so refreshing to find polite, courteous children in this day and age.
We also met his Mom, dad, brother and sister. A good testimony of a Christian family.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
“Forgive your enemies, it will mess with their mind.”
This is a quote from a church sign. Catchy but true. The Bible tells us to forgive and also do something good for your enemies.
The best thing we can do is pray for them, the next is to witness to them in a simple non confrontational way.
SOS asks this question, ” Do you know the 3 things God cannot do.”
Simple, thought provoking and an easy way to witness even to your enemies.
On our home page are 2 training videos that will help you. Sign in to watch them.
Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
To God be the glory, great things He hath done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.
Lyrics by Fanny Crosby and tune by William Howard Doane.
It appears to have been written around 1872. Ira Sankey had introduced it in England during Moody’s 1873-1874 evangelistic campaigns. Despite this the song failed to achieve wide usage in the United States and was included in very few hymnals. In 1954 Cliff Barrows, song leader for Billy Graham, was handed a copy with the suggestion that it be added to the song book for the London Crusade. It was so popular that he included it again later that year in the Crusade in Nashville, TN. The audience responded enthusiastically and from that time on used it regularly. With this exposure the song rapidly became familiar to a Christians worldwide and is included in most modern hymnals.
SOS Events is being blessed by God everyday. To Him be the glory.
1 Timothy 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever.
Randy and Romona Thomas are the newest members of the SOS team.

Randy and his wife need to raise support. If you would like to help them get started with their SOS journey click on the donate button on the home page and designate the donation for Randy Thomas. All donations to SOS are tax deductible.
Luke 10:7
the labourer is worthy of his hire.
2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity:for God loveth a cheerful giver.
