Florida Strawberry Festival

God’s Names
August 23, 2015As we honor God today, let us think about some of his wonderful names. Counselor, Prince of peace, Savior, Lily-of-the-valley, Lord, Jehovah and many more. The Bible says that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Some people use God’s name as a curse word and that should break a Christian’s heart to hear that. Let us be careful how we use His name.
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
JESUS Calms the Storm
August 2, 2015JESUS is the answer to all the storms in our lives. He will calm the most fearful storm if we have faith and trust in Him.
Mark 4:37-40 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Every day on the news Christians freedoms are being taken away. There are many posts on Twitter, websites, and other social media that tell us what is wrong but very few give an answer.
The only answer is found in the Bible.
2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Christians, we need to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any sin in our heart, ask forgiveness, and fervently pray for our country.
Nancy
July 24, 2015Nancy is one of SOS Events faithful Senior Servants. She is a diligent worker, dedicated Christian, children’s Sunday school teacher and works tirelessly when she comes once a month to help SOS. She is an encourager. She not only comes herself but picks up others so they may come and help also. When there is a lot of work to do she is always willing to stay longer than expected until the job is done.Nancy is also a great witness. She loves to use the ” three things God cannot do” to witness to others.
When Nancy meets the Savior, He will say, well done thou good and faithful servant.
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Spanish Blessings
July 12, 2015Pastor Romero took a group from the Spanish church in Lakeland to a convention in Dothan Ga. Members from approximately 50 churches attended. Everyone is excited about the souls being saved using the “3 Things God Can Not Do” in Spanish. Fifty or more souls are coming to the Lord each week in Flea Markets in Lakeland and Plant City, FL.
All the Glory goes to the Lord who saves them. The Bible says: John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
SOS Trainers

SOS Events trains individuals how they can win souls at events.

The New Jersey team uses the “three things God cannot do” at events, flea markets, and on Saturday visitation.
SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have many faithful trainers, who have a burden to teach others how to win souls with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Fear of the Storm
July 7, 2015This story was posted about a year ago but with so many storms in the lives of people today the lesson about trusting our Master, the Lord Jesus is one of comfort in today’s troubled world.
Baby, our little chihuahua, is terrified of thunder. Last night there was a thunder storm that was extremely loud. Baby sleeps in a crate by our bed and usually loves her bed and has no problem sleeping. But when the thunder got loud she started to whimper in fear. Finally, I got up and put her in our bed. Immediately, she curled up and was sound asleep, knowing she was protected by her master.We have a Protecter, The Lord Jesus, who is waiting to calm our fears in the storms of our life. When fear overtakes us we can trust Him to bring us through the storm in peace and safety.
Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
