Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Yesterday a phone call came in to the SOS Events home office. Nan called to ask for a Bible Study.
She went to the National Fair in Alabama, where she heard the gospel and accepted Jesus as her Savior, but did not give the volunteers her information.
The Lord has been working on her heart and she realized she needed to start a Bible study.
Then she asked Val (the SOS office assistant) if she could get Bible studies for her children. She sent 6 names and addresses for her family to get those Bible lessons. Pray that these family members will be saved.
There are times when the SOS Events volunteers may think that they are not getting through to people, but God works on the hearts. He wants to get the glory and we cannot see all He does. Our work for the Lord accomplishes what He wants even when we can’t see it.
SOS has finished at the Alabama National Fair. A total of 29 decisions for Christ. God blessed with 22 people who prayed and received salvation.
Sometimes there are those who have doubts about their salvation and just need assurance that God has truly forgiven them, 7 people prayed for assurance.
It is always a blessing to have 3 new volunteers who filled out testimony sheets. At events we also try to get Christians to get active in witnessing with SOS Events. There were 7 people who gave us their info and want to learn more about SOS ministry.
The home office gets what it needs from the Alabama Team to document this event.
It was a struggle to find volunteers to fill the spots needed and Carl and Patty were the take down crew – God is still in the business of miracles because getting all of the booth stuff into our cars and back into the closet was a miracle!
We know God will continue to work in and through those willing to share about His son.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
Grateful! That is how I feel today. Coming home to view the destruction of the property that the hurricane, Milton did.
I am amazed. All around there are fallen trees. On the SOS Events office, the carport where the classic car and my personal vehicle is housed. (Both vehicles not damaged)
The SOS Events office has a gigantic tree that took out an attached air conditioner, leaving a hole in the wall and roof. The tree still needs to be removed so repairs can be made.
Then there is my home, in the middle of it all and it is perfect. Not touched by the storm. It looks like God put His hand on the house and would not let the wind or fallen trees touch it.
I look up at the tree that hangs over the house. Huge branches fallen everywhere but not on the house. GRATEFUL! Thank you, Lord for your care and protection.
Thank you to the volunteers who came and cleared what they could.
I appreciate everything that has already been done.
There is still much to do but God will provide what is needed.
There were 9 salvations at the last car show in Perrysburg Friday evening with the Ohio SOS Events Team , which brings the total for this year to 217 salvations!!!!
There was also a man from Ukraine who prayed the prayer of salvation. What a way to end the car show season!!! To God be all of the glory!!!
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11:36
Another beautiful day at the Cotton Festival in Eclectic, Alabama under the SOS Events Ministry tent. They say behind every picture is a story well this one is nothing short of blessings on blessings.
The first picture is of Gabriel he came by at 9:30 this morning and after hearing the Gospel shared he wanted to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He is going into the Air force in December and wanted to make sure he was 100 percent sure he was going to Heaven.
Three hours later his sisters came by the tent and wanted to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Well an hour later little sister pops up in front of the tent and said, Hi I want to be saved ❤ This whole family gave their lives to Jesus at this event , you talk about a happy and proud grandmother in tears will bless your heart completely.
We are Praising God for the 6 precious souls that walked out of the darkness into His Glorious light and give God all the Glory for allowing us to share the Gospel and Serve Our Savior with this life saving ministry.
We wish we could get pictures of all of them but some times it just gets too busy. Thank you Patricia for coming out today to volunteer ,we appreciate it so much.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalms 28:7
SOS OFFICEThe storage building where all the supplies for SOS Events are kept completely covered by fallen tree. Can’t see the building.Carport where the classic car and Curtis car were when the storm hit. Completely blocked by trees.
Please pray with us that people that were hit with damage to property get help soon. There are many widows that are alone and need assistance.
Pray for SOS property to be cleared and the interior damage was not severe. As soon as electricity and internet are restored the office staff wants to be up and running so we can supply materials to the Teams that are having Fall events, in other places, can continue to witness to people who need the Lord.
There are many who suffered much more loss than what is pictured here. Please continue to pray for the families that have lost everything.
We are thankful for God’s protection in this storm. Communication is difficult now, but we have gotten through to most of SOS Events staff and they are safe. Unable to reach our Senior Servants Ladies as most lines of communication are not repaired. Trusting the Lord for their safety.
Busy day under the SOS Events Ministry Tent! We had multiple events going on at the same time in 3 different locations.
6 people surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the Dadeville Fall Festival.
Beth and Wes were blessed to witness 6 precious souls saved at the Santuck Flea Market and ended the afternoon at the Alabama National Fair in Montgomery where 1 sweet little girl wanted to pray to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
The SOS Events Team that worked the fair Friday night had 3 people born again into the Kingdom of God.
We are tired but oh so thankful and blessed to be a part of this life saving ministry. We can’t do anything in our own power but all the Glory to God for ministering to the hearts of these precious people.
It’s been a great day Serving Our Savior !! Please continue to pray for SOS at the Fair that will be going through Oct 13th.
Friday, 16 salvations at the Perrysburg Car Show with the SOS Events Ministry Ohio Team!!!
It was an amazing evening and such an honor to witness so many salvations. So far this season, we have witnessed 208 salvations at the Perrysburg Car Show with one more show next Friday.
This is the highest number of salvations so far at this car show. God is so good!!!❤️❤️❤️
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Praise the Lord for 106 people who trusted Jesus as their Savior at James Dean Days. The weather did not want to cooperate as it was windy and rainy some of the 3 days, but God blessed the efforts of the SOS Events Team.
Ed, Rhonda and their son traveled from Ohio to Indiana with their 2 classic cars. God blesses this Team for all they do. Faithful witnesses for the Lord.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
Beautiful day under the SOS Events Ministry tent at the Wedowee Fall Bazaar!
We are so thrilled to have our new volunteer Ron Burdette join us today with his sweet daughters , these girls worked hard handing out tracts and at the end of the day practiced doing the board.
Ron did a great job at the “3 Things God Can Not Do” board and is excited to do more events.
We are so excited to see 3 people give their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and come out of darkness into His Glorious light.
2 young men come back to learn more about scripture shared and will receive a Bible study.
To God be the Glory for these precious souls saved today!!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8
