The Clay County Rodeo was another wonderful night under the SOS Events Ministry tent in Alabama.
Any one that knows me well know that I have been struggling for 8 months with severe lower back pain so these events are getting harder for me to do. I debated on whether I should go but the Lord just kept putting on my heart that His Grace is sufficient for me and when I’m weak He is strong. I know now why I was needed at this event.
Lola came by the tent and met her Devine appointment , I am so thankful to be able to share the Gospel message with her and hear her pray to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Sometimes God wants us to do the hard things so He will get the Glory. All Glory to God for the opportunity to Serve Our Savior with this life changing and saving ministry.
(Testimony from Beth Walker, Team Leader in Alabama.)
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
SOS Events added a new Team in New York State recently. They had a booth at the Niagara County Fair and there were 10 salvations.
In Barker, NY they had a booth at the Corn Fest. This was their first event. No recorded decisions but had opportunity to hand out tracts and witness in this small village near Lake Ontario.
We are so blessed to add this team to the New York area.
“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Luke 15:7
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Your Pastor needs prayer today. The burden that a Pastor carries can be overwhelming.
Family, congregation, financial responsibility and the many things that can cause stress can cause discouragement. There is nothing the enemy loves more than to see a Pastor want to give up or fall into temptation to sin.
Pray for wisdom, filling of the Holy Spirit for your Pastor. Let him know you are praying for him. It will encourage and be a blessing.
O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Psalm 105:1
This man was wearing what appeared to be a satanic t- shirt.
Just a few months ago, his father was murdered by his mother and he said, “I lost both of my parents.”
He said he was praying before he came to the car show. After he prayed the prayer of salvation, he said he felt teary eyed but not sad tears, but happy. We gave him a New Testament Bible we had with us.
11 salvations total!!! Praise God!!!!

Have you ever had a bad hair day? No matter what you do, nothing works.
Did you know that God knows how many hairs you have on your head. He cares about you that much!
God’s knew everything about you before you were born. What a wonderful thing to know that God knows you, loves you and cares about everything you do.
He also made a way that everyone can spend eternity with Him. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, be buried and 3 days later He arose. Jesus is the only way we can go to Heaven when we die.
He is the only One who can pay the penalty for sin. If you have not accepted Him as your Savior don’t delay. Invite Him into your life right now.
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7
That is a good question. Is your treasure in a bank? Stocks and bonds? Real estate? Gold or silver?
God does not say it is a sin to have these things but the question is do you live for them? Is your goal in life, I want more money, property or things?
God says, Love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Maybe you love yourself more than others.
Are you willing to share what you have to bless others. Someone less fortunate than you?
The greatest treasure you have is knowing Jesus as your Savior. Do you share Him with others by telling them about Jesus?
Today, the challenge is to ask yourself, “Where is my treasure?”
Once again Florida and neighboring States have gone through a storm. Wind, rain and devastation. People’s lives uprooted until the storm passes by.
Then, after the storm the sun comes out and lives get back to normal.
Our Christian lives are the same. Storms come. Losses. Maybe it’s a loved one, illness, broken relationships. Whatever your storm, it will pass. The blessing is that you have someone who will carry you through that storm. His name is Jesus.
Jesus will never leave or forsake you. That is a promise from God’s Word. So if you are in the middle of a storm in your life, turn to the Savior who will carry you through.
On Friday evenings in the summer the Ohio SOS Events Team goes to the Perrysburg Car Show.
This year has been a record year for this Team. Ed and Rhonda along with their son needs new volunteers to expand to other parts of Ohio.
They also take their 2 classic cars to the James Dean Days in Indiana each year. (Volunteers needed here also)
This small SOS Event Team has been able to bring hundreds of people to the Lord. They keep it simple. Just the car, a display board, a small table and a clip board is all they need to be effective witnesses.
Come and join them if you live in the Toledo area. Others keep them in your prayers.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 15:16
If you live in Florida or one of the States that are in the path of a tropical storm, you will receive warnings of a disaster that is about to come. This may cause fear or anxiety.
But God tells us in this beautiful verse that He loves us and wants us to have peace. So, if you feel stressed today, take comfort from God’s word.
Make preparations to withstand the storm but trust God to bring you through whatever storm you have in your life.
