SOS Events has teams of people who love to win souls at events. In the State of Alabama there are several groups from different areas. The group pictured here is from the Montgomery area. One of the reasons Christians like SOS Events is that it is a team effort. There are always 3 or 4 people working together at an event. God blesses Christians who work together with one goal in mind, winning the lost to Jesus. All that is needed for a team is 3 or 4 people. Think of your friends and you can get a team together in your area. We will come and train you, provide the tools you need to be a witness for Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

SOS Evangelism Event Ministries refresher course, at Good News Baptist Church, with Event Ministries Training Leaders Beth Wes Walker was held recently. A lot of Events coming up this year.
I have taken just about every soul winning course that’s been available in the last 50 years, but SOS is one of the easiest and non-offensive evangelism ministries I’ve been a part of.
2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Thursday is a great day to Praise the Lord for His blessings. Also, today the precious Senior Servants come to help SOS Events get out the Newsletter. We are thankful for these ladies who come the first Thursday of every month to help us. What are you thankful fo today?

The First Annual SOS Events Florida Meeting was a great success. Our thanks to Gapway Baptist Church for the wonderful meeting space. The room is spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. Those who attended had a good time. We were challenged by our newest board member, William Slater. There were several Great testimonies from team members of what SOS Events Ministry means to them. The food was good, we were able to get acquainted with some team members we had not met before, and there were several prize drawings. The object of the meeting was to get instructions and excitement for winning souls in 2018. SOS Events would like to make this even better next year by having all our team members, past and present, from all over the USA to come and join the Florida team in February 2019. The date to be announced soon. (The following verse is meant for church attendance but it is used today to encourage us to meet together and help get excited to win more souls to the Lord.)

Today if you are reading this blog before noon, you are on SOS Events old website. After 12 it is our new and improved website. (Isn’t that what advertisers tell us when they change a product?). Check out the website later in the day or tomorrow. It will be much faster to get to the blog and you will find it easier to navigate. Tell your friends to look us up and thank you for coming to our site. New posts everyday.. We give God all the glory for all He has done for SOS Events throughput the years.

Weather was cold (for Florida), crowd was down, but we Praise the Lord for the one soul that decided to trust Christ at the Raising Cane Festival on Saturday. Sometimes we think it’s about the numbers but Heaven rejoices over one person who gets saved and we do too.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

SOS Events ministry has a booth to win souls at the Raising Cane Festival in Dade City, Florida, today. Please join with us in prayer that many will be saved and that our volunteers will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Friday and Saturday there was a most unusual event that SOS Events has ever participated in. Monterey Baptist Church in Orlando invited us to come and share in their soul winning event. While several vans and cars full of soul winners went out to witness at apartment complexes, we set up our displays in the front yard of the church waiting for people to pass by. This is not our usual venue, however, a few people did walk past. At the end of the 2 days there were eight Salvations. These people are within walking distance of the church. Praying that today they will attend the Sunday services of this growing church.
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

All of the Trainers, team members and supporters with SOS Events Ministry are important. Teams from across the USA and beyond are a true blessing and hundreds of souls have come to Christ this year. On January 20, 2018 from 10-2 there will be a meeting of all Florida Trained Workers in Lakeland. This is a chance to meet the Key Leaders, the Board Members and hear a special speaker who will motivate us to Serve Our Savior with renewed excitement to win souls. If you are working with SOS Events and live outside of Florida you are more than welcome to attend.
