We have so much that we can thank the Lord for. His precious promises in His Word the Bible.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
These are just a few of many promises in the Bible. We can look and see which promise we need for today.

SOS Events Ministry Leaders in Florida have been praying for new volunteers at the Plant City Flea Market, especially Bilingual people. Yesterday, a Hispanic Pastor and his family came by to help.
This event takes place every week and our prayer is that a different team will take one week a month on Wednesdays. God answered that prayer.
The team from Lakeland, Fl will do one week. Another man and his team will take a week, and the Pastor who visited yesterday will take the third week. That leaves the week left for our regular team. God answers prayer.
Not only that blessing but 31 people accepted Jesus as their Savior yesterday. God is great!
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7
This Bible Verse is especially for all the Leaders, Trainers and Volunteers for SOS Events Ministry. Thank you for your time and talent you give to Serve Our Savior together. You are very much appreciated.
This verse is also an encouragement to all Christian workers. Pastors, teachers and volunteers who work tirelessly to get the gospel to the people of this world.
God has promised rewards for those who work for Him. In Heaven we will lay those crowns at Jesus feet.
Let us not be weary in well doing. We will reap if we faint not.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: Galatians 5:22&23
Temperance is Emotional Restraint or Self-Control. Do we ever get angry and loose self-control? We have a temper and it shows.
How do we conquer bad temper? Give it all to Jesus. He wants us to be in control over our emotions.
Is it sinful to be angry? Not necessarily. What is sinful is how we control that anger. If we find ourselves getting angry, it is better to walk away than to shout, yell or worse.
The old saying I’d count to ten before you react. Good advice. Today let us decide to control our temper and give it to the Lord.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: Galatians 5:22&23
Biblical meaning of meekness: Meekness is essentially an attitude or quality of heart whereby a person is willing to accept and submit without resistance to the will and desire of someone else.
What a great definition of meekness. God’s Word tells us to be willing to have an attitude of submission. That is preferring others before ourselves.
Most of all we must have a heart that is submission to God. Allow Him to change our attitude of being right to accepting another’s desire above our own.
(That does not mean we have to be submissive in an abusive situation. If you are in a relationship that you are suffering abuse, get out, pray that God will give you wisdom and show you where to go for help)
Sometimes we are in a place where we can not pray. We may be ill depressed or discouraged. Maybe we are in the middle of something that is sinful. God knows all of our problems and He is waiting for us to pray.
Be honest with God. He has the answer. Tell Him that you do not feel like praying and ask the Holy Spirit to pray for you. The Bible tells us that Jesus is making intercession for us. We can’t hide our thoughts from God.
But, thank Him for loving you and understanding. God wants our praise even when we are unable to pray.
Soon the time of prayer will return and our relationship with God will be even better.
You may have a beautiful home or you may be living in a place of poverty. You may not have a home at all and have no earthly possessions. Whatever you have or wherever you live will not matter when you get to Heaven.
How do we lay up treasures in Heaven? We must be sure we are going there by trusting in Jesus for forgiveness of sin.
Obedience to God’s Word. Loving God with all your heart and loving one another.
Telling others about salvation. There is a crown for soul winners. All our treasure in Heaven we can lay at Jesus feet. He is the One who is worthy of all our love, devotion and treasure.
