The name of Jesus! Wonderful name. We can rejoice in the name of Jesus.
His name is above all other names. A good Bible Study is to look up His names. Savior, Lord, King of Kings, the Good Shepherd, Bread of Life and many more.
Many of the names that Jesus is called shows His love toward us. Comforter, Deliverer and my favorite, Friend.
With Jesus we can have joy no matter what the circumstances.
SOSEvents Ministry has influence outside the USA with social media and the blog.
It is extremely encouraging to have people from many different Countries get on the blog and have opportunity to get the Gospel as well as access to Bible Studies and helpful tools to grow in their relationship to God.
Thank you to those people who are reading this even now. My prayer is for many salvations and spiritual growth for you.

The opportunity for many people throughout the world to click on and receive the gospel is wonderful. And the Bible studies that can be completed online is amazing.
There are a few things that need to be corrected, so please be patient and enjoy what has been done.
Praise the Lord for the technology to reach out and witness to a multitude of people.
O Lord, thou art my God;

Labor Day is a holiday in the USA to honor men and women in the workplace. It is a day set aside to celebrate with parades, picnics and family gatherings.
The Bible tells us a lot about labor:
Exodus 20:9-11 – Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Ephesians 4:28 – Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 – Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
These are just a few verses, there are many more. A good study. If you are struggling with burdens today these following verses will bring you comfort and rest:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11: 28-30
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
In this world we need wisdom. Things sometimes seem to be spinning out of control.
We do not know how to handle the situation and need true wisdom.
That is when we look to God and His Word. Wisdom comes from Him. The book of Proverbs is a great way to get the wisdom we need. Search the scriptures.
Reading the Bible isn’t just informative—it’s transformative.
Every Christian needs to get alone with God everyday. Fifteen minutes a day can take you through the Bible in a year. It is not to late to start if you begin today. This is leap year, February has 29 days that will catch you up if you did not start on January first. (There are several yearly Bible reading plans on the web)
Some people read a Proverb a day, which is a wonderful place to seek wisdom. The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the books to read to know Jesus better and learn more of His sacrifice for you. Interested in prophecy? Daniel and Revelation are the books for you. Whatever you need the answer is in the Book, the Bible.
Let God speak to you through His Word and then you will be able to speak to Him through prayer.
Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
SOS Events Ministry partners with Source of Light Ministry in Georgia. When a person fills out a decision card at an SOS Events booth, that name, address and age is sent to Source of Light, then an age appropriate Bible Study is sent to that person. The results are amazing. Recently, in one week 130 completed first Bible Studies were returned to Source of Light for correction and prayer. Most of those studies came from SOS Events contacts. The Bible Studies will continue to be sent as long as the individual continues to complete them and send them in. The average is 13 or more lessons. What a wonderful foundation for a new believer.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
It is amazing that people from over 92 Countries, some countries we have never heard of, have viewed SOS Events website. The gospel has reached them through the blog and Bible Studies. God has used this venue to reach people that would be impossible to reach in person.
Originally, the goal of SOS Events Ministry was to spread the Gospel to the USA, but God has enlarged our territory through social media. Pray with us for more people daily to get on the website and trust Jesus as their Savior.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
