There is no greater power on earth than the power of God’s Word.

How can 6 Bible verses make a difference in someone’s life?

At an event with SOS Events 6 verses make all the difference for the people who listen and accept Jesus as their Savior.

What are these 6 verses?

1. GOD cannot lie. Titus 1:2

2. GOD cannot change. Malachi 3:6

3. GOD can or let anyone into Heaven unless he is born again. John 3:3-5

4. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Romans 3:23

5. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

6. For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. Romans 10:13

These 6 verses are used by the volunteers for SOS Events, over the 23 years over 80,000 people have listened to these verses and accepted Jesus as their Savior.

These verses made a difference in each of their lives.

What’s Missing In This Picture?

The booth is ready at Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida.

What is missing in this picture? Volunteers to tell the people passing by the “3 Things God Can Not Do“.

There are people who need the Lord. If you want to be a part of this great opportunity to tell someone about Jesus, there is still 10 days left.

Many shifts are full, but there is still room for you!

For those of you who do not live near, you can be a vital part of helping.

How? PRAY! Pray for SOS volunteers, and for the people passing by, that they will have open hearts and minds to accept Jesus as their Savior.

Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:20

SOS Events Florida Volunteers!

If you are a trained volunteer with the Florida SOS Events Team, we need you!!

Strawberry Festival in Plant City starts tomorrow. There is still several 3 hour slots that need volunteers.

Hundreds of people pass by the SOS Events booth. Most of them are lost and do not know that Jesus is the only way that they can have eternal life.

You have the answer. Are you going to let these men, women, boys and girls go by without an opportunity to be saved?

Go to the website signupgenius, scroll down to find a sign up, type in info@sosevents.org. An icon will pop up about Strawberry Festival and sign up in an empty slot.

If that is to difficult for you call the office at 813-494-7512. We will sign up for you.

God commands us to be witnesses. This is your golden opportunity.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13

SOS Events Staff at Strawberry Festival!

The Monday evening before the Florida Strawberry Festival starts a great dinner is served to all the vendors.

It is an opportunity for the staff of SOS Events to get together and fellowship before the work of a busy 11 days of working in the booth to witness to people.

It is a big responsibility to make sure the booth has at least 3 or 4 volunteers for every hour the building is open. That is 12 hours a day.

If you re a trained worker with SOS Events Ministry and live in the area that you can get to the Festival, please volunteer. There are still some vacancies.

Do not miss the opportunity to share the gospel with the lost. You will be blessed. It is the most exciting and rewarding experience you can have.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Go Fishing!

Jesus told Peter and Andrew, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

But they are not the only ones who Jesus expects to “go fishing”.

It is every Christian’s responsibility to GO.

You can’t fish sitting at home, or going to church and talking about it.

You have to go where the fish are.

If you do not know where to go, or you don’t know how to catch fish (witnessing to men, women and children), SOS Events can teach you.

You can go to festivals, community events, yard sales, car shows, flea markets and other types of events. People who are lost are at these events!

That is where the “fish” are. Come join SOS and see how happy you will be when you start to obey Jesus, and He blesses you with many people you have “caught” to accept Jesus as their Savior.

Thankful For Serving Our Savior!

It is a privilege to Serve Our Savior with SOS Events Ministry. Thankful for every missionary, trainer and volunteer who has been a witness for the Lord Jesus in the last 23 years.

Thank the Lord for all the souls who have come for salvation and assurance in those years. Thank you all for your service for Him.

Praying for more souls, more volunteers and more opportunity.

Christmas Is Over, Jesus Is Still Here!

Christmas is over, time to take down the beautiful decorations and keeping in our hearts the memories of Christmas 2023.

It always makes me sad to put away those wonderful things that make Christmas special every year. As we put away the lights, tree, nativity sets, let us NOT put away the truth of Christmas, Jesus was born into this world to be our Savior, and it is our responsibility to tell others. So let us make a resolution to be better witnesses in 2024 and Serve Our Savior with more zeal than we ever had before.

Witnessing is a responsibility for every Christian. Tell someone about our wonderful Savior. In person is best. But, we can make phone calls, write notes and use social media to be a witness for the Lord. Be creative.

Think of someone today who needs the Lord and pray for him or her, and then contact them. People need the Lord now more than ever.

Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Please Pray For SOS Events Today!

These are only 5 of the 9 events in this area of Florida today. There a many more events throughout the USA TODAY and on the 31st.

What SOS Events needs most of all is your prayers for many people to be saved. Also, for strength and Holy Spirit power for the many volunteers who will be witnessing.

Some of these volunteers are doing more than one event today.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18
