Witnessing to people is more difficult today than it has been in the past. Social distancing, masks and fear of contracting illness has kept us from talking to others.
Normal places to witness like a grocery store, waiting for an appointment or any public place has become almost impossible.
As a Christian, what can we do? Take advantage of every opportunity. Freely give out tracts. Put them in a restroom, in letters that you send out. Use email, phone calls or any form of communication to tell people about Jesus. If you are able to join SOS Events and go to an event to witness.
Be creative. Think of ways you can tell others about the gospel. It is our responsibility to be a witness for the Lord Jesus.
On Saturday, SOS Events had 2 events in Florida. The Sugar Cane Festival in Dade City where 4 boys ask Jesus to be their Savior.
In Plant City, at a food distribution, 24 people had their lives changed when they trusted in Jesus.
Many of you prayed for these events. Thank you for your prayers. Now, please pray for these new Christians, that they will grow and become strong in the faith.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Today, SOS Events has 2 places that will have teams of volunteers to witness to people in Florida.
This photo was taken last month at a food distribution at a local church in Plant City. SOS Events volunteers will be at this event again today.
At the same time more volunteers will be in Dade City at an all day event. Please pray for souls to be saved. Pray for SOS Events workers that they have wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.
Events are few because of COVID-19 but God still gives opportunities to tell others about Jesus.
Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Christmas is over, time to take down the beautiful decorations and keeping in our hearts the memories of Christmas 2020. It always makes me sad to put away those wonderful things that make Christmas special every year. As we put away the lights, tree, nativity sets, let us NOT put away the truth of Christmas, Jesus was born into this world to be our Savior, and it is our responsibility to tell others. So let us make a resolution to be better witnesses in 2021, and Serve Our Savior with more zeal than we ever had before.
Witnessing is a little more difficult because of social distancing and lack of events and physical gatherings, but we can make phone calls, write notes and use social media to be a witness for the Lord. Be creative. Think of someone today who needs the Lord and pray for him or her, and then contact them. People need the Lord now more than ever.
Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.:
Do you ever feel that you are not good at witnessing?
God tells us in the Bible that once we are saved it is our responsibility to tell others how to be saved.
You can be free from the lie that you are not good at it, because God is the One who will speak through you.
SOS Events Ministry trains people how to witness in a simple non-confrontational way. See the “3 Things God Can Not Do” and the A,B,C of salvation on the home page.
If you practice using these simple verses, then pray, trust the Lord for opportunities, and have courage to witness. You will be amazed how God will use YOU to lead people to Jesus.
Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10
Ohio team, Ed and Rhonda (in the blue shirts), witnessing at a local car show on a Thursday evening. 24 people trusted Jesus as their Savior.
Stephanie Curtis, team leader, took this photo. God is blessing with opportunities as events begin to open. People need the Lord and God is bringing them in.
This team was so busy that 2 display boards were used. Nothing fancy here. The SOS Events team, with a desire to win souls and God gives the increase.
“I have planted, Apollos watered;but God gave the increase.” 1 Corinthians 3:6
Praising the Lord for a wonderful weekend Serving Our Savior with SOS Events Ministry!!! Saturday at Santuck Flea Market we were so blessed to have these 2 ladies accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!! A beautiful moment to share with them as they surrendered their lives to Christ with their children by their sides. 6 more people received assurance and now know they are 100% sure they are going to Heaven. We spoke to 172 people at the SOS board and gave out 225 tracts and were honoured to be prayed for by a youth pastor from Tennessee and a sweet Grammy while we spoke with her 2 granddaughters. They were not ready to commit their lives to Christ but have the knowledge of the Gospel and a precious Grammy to help guide them with her support and prayer.. Thank you Lord for blessing us with the opportunity to share the Gospel with SOS Events Ministry!!
