The Lord is Good all the time but we praise Him especially for answered prayer. Thank you all who prayed for Thomas Curtis. Surgery went well and now on to recovery, so he can get back to what he loves to do. Win souls to Christ.
Effectual Prayer
June 23, 2015Thank you for your prayers for Tom Curtis yesterday. His pacemaker surgery went so well that he was able to come home after a few hours. God answers prayer.

Mealtime Prayer

This simple prayer is taught to small children as a blessing for their food. We as adults sometimes forget the importance of thanking God for our meal, or maybe we are ashamed to bow our heads in public to give thanks if we are at a restaurant or at a business lunch. Even JESUS gave thanks for the provisions that God gave. Let us follow His example at every meal.
Matthew 15:36
And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

November 6, 2014Many of you may know the song “Thank You Lord For Saving My Soul” as a chorus sung usually by children in Sunday School, but the song has great verses also. Think about what you are thankful for as you read the verses:
Some thank the Lord for friends and home

But I would praise Him for his grace

Do Something, Vote
November 4, 2014Today is Election Day in the USA. You can do something to exercise your rights as a citizen of our country. VOTE. Many people, even those who may read this do not have the freedom we in America have. Our forefathers fought for our freedom and came to America FOR religious freedom. (Not from religion)
Give thanks to God and do something, vote. Think about what God has given to us and be thankful we still have the privilege to go to the polls and voice our opinion through our vote. One vote can make the difference.

November is the time Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. This month the blog will focus on the many ways we should be thankful. The Bible talks about giving thanks in everything. God has blessed us in so many ways.
Most of all our thanks should be to God for sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. But it did not end there, He rose again. We know we can be saved and on our way to Heaven. Repent, believe and receive JESUS today and then thank Him for salvation.
