Sometimes our day starts out on the wrong foot. We have stress or something happens that causes us to think our day will be a disaster. Then GOD brings something good into our life. Maybe an encouraging phone call, text message or a letter.
That is what happened yesterday at the Plant city flea market. Things started out on the wrong foot. People were not coming over to the SOS Events booth, the volunteers seemed to have forgotten proper procedures. Is this day going to be a disaster?
NO, 17 people trusted Jesus as their Savior. What a wonderful blessing for the volunteers at the SOS Events booth. God turned things around and it was a great day after all.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
We couldn’t have started the morning at the Lineville Car Show any better than this!! Delton came under the SOS Events Ministry tent heard the gospel and surrendered his life to Jesus as Lord and Savior. As you can see his dad was super proud of him!!
Saturday was so special as 3 more young ladies accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and 3 more people came back to hear the gospel message and are now 100% sure they are going to Heaven.
I am always so humbled by the conversations I get to have and the way the Holy Spirit helps me minister to their needs. We were able to speak to 210 people at the 3 Things God Cannot Do board and gave out 225 tracts. It blesses our hearts each year as we get to see people that have been saved over the last 5 years we have done this event and how God has blessed their lives.
A Big thank you to John Balint who came out to volunteer today. He worked tirelessly today and his love for this ministry is such a joy to watch!! We are forever greatful to be a part of this life saving ministry and always look forward to seeing how God moves as we Serve Our Savior!!
Romans 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
What a wonderful week for the SOS Events team in Lakeland, Fl the last week in October.
Bob and Ginger, Team Leaders, represented SOS Events at a Ministry Fair at Scot Lake Baptist Church.
Then on the weekend had several events. Scott Lake Fall Festival there were 12 decisions and at Trinity Baptist there were 6 decisions to follow Jesus.
Scott Lake Fall Featival
SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have a great team in the Lakeland, Florida area.
Proverbs 11:30 – The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise
The SOS Events Michigan Team was ready and excited to have the opportunity to witness at the Fall Festival at Grace Bible Church in Owosso on Halloween weekend.
God blessed them with 7 salvations. Praise the Lord!
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Psalm 9:1
Halloween is a day that originated to ward off evil spirits with bonfires and sacrifices. This weekend is a time when children trick or treat and adults party. Some people love Halloween and others hate it, but however you feel about Halloween, as Christian we can use it to witness for the Lord.
If children come to your house for trick or treat be sure to give them a tract along with the candy.
SOS Events participates in many Halloween alternatives at churches and community events. Diana (our office manager) sets up a “3 Things God Can Not Do” display in her yard every Halloween and has seen many children, teens and adults come to know the Lord in the last several years. Be a witness and use this opportunity for God’s glory. Also please pray for many souls to be saved on this weekend, the busiest in the year for SOS Events all around the USA.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
When SOS Events Ministry goes to an event, some people receive the Lord Jesus as their Savior and others walk away.
In the first photo there is a woman who has received the message and was justified because she invited Jesus to be her Savior.
In the second photo is a man who deliberately walked as far as possible from the booth so he would not hear about Jesus. Condemned? We don’t know if he will ever find the truth but please pray for him.
“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18 KJV
Six people were saved at this event in Zephyrhills, Florida last weekend. Praise the Lord!!
It is always a joy to see new things happening in SOS Events Ministry. This time of year with all the fall festivals is a time of expansion.
A new event took place this past weekend. A total of 9 salvation decisions, at “Trunk or Treat ” at Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid, Florida. Team was Jess Page, Bob Hippchen, and Jamie Diggs.
All the praise and glory belongs to the Lord for the salvations. Pray that this is just the first of many great things this team will do in the future.
Colossians 3:17 – And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
This is a precious promise in Gods Word. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart and only you can open the door and invite Him in.
Today, SOS Events has several opportunities to tell people about Jesus at events. Please pray with us that many will have a willing heart and that they will open the door and let Jesus in.
Numerous churches and organizations will have alternative Halloween events for children the next few weekends. Many children and their parents hear the Gospel at these events.
Halloween is a celebration for multitudes, using symbols of witches, ghosts. and evil things, however, SOS Events Ministry uses this time to present the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus at several events. God once again has turned evil into good. Praise the Lord.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
