Several people that were saved at Strawberry Festival told the soul winner that their Grandmother had been praying for them. One young man, Samuel, came in the booth with his Grandmother and after he prayed he looked at her. Tears were flowing down her face. Samuel asked her, “Why are you crying?” She answered, “I have been praying for you to be saved.”
2 Timothy 1:5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

One of the blessings of being in the same event year after year is the people who stop by the booth to give a testimony of the blessing they received from SOS Events in years passed. Yesterday, a woman stopped by the booth at Strawberry Festival to thank the workers and said her daughter had gotten saved last year. She told the worker how happy she is to know her daughter will be with her in Heaven. She will bring her son to the booth in the future when he is a little older so he will understand how to be saved. Soul winning at events has a lasting effect on people. We Praise the Lord for giving us the opportunity to witness at events.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

41 years ago I trusted the Lord as my Savior. Salvation is freely offered. It has been paid for through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. All you have to do is admit you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for you and that he is giving you this opportunity to trust in him, then call on Him to come into your life. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 3:23 tells us that For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And Romans 10:9 says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. That is a promise from God.

13 children and 2 parents where are saved at the Hendersonville Christian School fall Festival last evening. SOS events always gets name, address, and age on a decision card for follow-up. Then that convert is asked to write a testimony on the back of the card.
One little girl named Anna, eight years old wrote on the back of her card, “I feel clean.” That is exactly what Jesus does for us when we get saved. He gives us a clean heart.
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Today is one of my son’s birthday. It is wonderful to celebrate the day he was born, but there is a more important day that is celebrated in our family. That is the day that he was born again. We celebrate his life here on earth and that is wonderful, but the real joy is knowing that we will be able to spend eternity together.
Do you have two birthdays? The first birthday is the day you were born and the second birthday is the day that you trusted Jesus to be your Savior. God answers prayer. Yesterday at the Plant City Flea Market things were slow. By 10:00 o’clock not one person had been saved and the crowd was sparse. In the morning we had asked for prayer from you who read the blog and I prayed specifically that God would bless us with 3 or more souls.
God is faithful and when Alice got back to the office she reported that 4 people were saved. Praise the Lord for answered prayer and for the people who were saved. Alice is in the center with 2 of the girls who made decisions.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This is a photo from the Plant City Flea Market, yesterday. William, who speaks Spanish, has been unable to be at the flea market for several weeks due to a health problem. He is back now and here he is leading woman to the Lord who only speaks Spanish. Welcome back, William and Praise the Lord for this lady who accepted Jesus. Also, thank the Lord for His healing.
Pray for SOS Events workers as our busy season is now in full swing with events every week throughout the Fall season.
Psalms 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
